Parking lot is small and unpaved, The inside is like a typical dive bar however was clean. The server was energetic and provided good service. Prices are reasonable. Burger and fries was good. Beer was cold. I would've given them 2 stars however I ordered wings and I was ripped off. There were no drumettes. It turns out that have a drumette special on Wednesday for I believe $0.50/piece. My guess is they save them for Wednesday.

This little 'hole in the wall' bar/grill is worth a visit. Nestled in the back bay of Lake Poygan their very nature filled water view is adorable. The outside tiki bar is fun with great summer vibes. Service is always great, live music is frequent and food is well above average for a 'dive' bar. Fish fry is superb - walleye, perch or haddock and the tartar is a favorite. Off the beaten path, take your car ir boat and have a blast.

This place was a party on the water! Neatly tucked into a small bay off the channel of Lake Poygan. Navigating and docking can be tricky especially after having a few drinks but all boaters seemed to manage fine. We docked here and grabbed some drinks at the inside bar to get out of the heat. It wasn't too busy so we were able to grab a table no problem. We got a round of drinks and shots. We also decided on a bar pizza because they looked absolutely delicious.Everything was great! Service was fast and friendly. Drinks were cheap and tasty. And that bar pizza, so good! From the signage around the bar they have other food and drink specials throughout the week. This also seems like a popular spot during the colder months because it's a registration station for sturgeon spearing. Can't wait to check it out again by car or boat!

New owners. My favorite stop when we are on the water. The food is great. Sometimes they get swamped when a bunch of boats all pull in at once. Pretty typical for a small place.

Went to the Boom Bay Bar and Grill today, July 2. There was supposed to be a band playing. There were some on and off rain showers, but the band was under a tent. The band really didn't play much and they weren't very good. This of course is not the fault of the establishment. We ordered a beer and a seltzer, which was $9.25. I thought this was a bit steep for a dive bar in the middle of nowhere. We decided to get something to eat. We ordered some onion rings and a pizza. The onion rings were nothing special, something frozen, then fried. The pizza looked good, but boy was it a soggy mess. All in all, not a great experience, but not bad enough to keep me from stopping there again. I wouldn't go out of my way to get there, but if I was in the area, I'd probably give them another chance. The ladies working the "Tiki Bar" were very nice.
