Bonde's Quik Mart & Country Deli

My wife and I were travelling to the Lakeshore Technical College for business. We stopped at Bonde's for my morning newspaper addiction. Bonde's is open from 0500 hours to 2200. The gas and diesel pumps are accessible 24/7 if you use a card. Fuel prices are usually lower than in Manitowoc. This place is why there is no Kwik Trip in Cleveland.As when I go into new places, I take a quick look around to see what a place has to offer. Here there is a deli that looked clean and well stocked. They even had two tables outside taped off from the parking lot. Outdoor seating is not very popular in Wisconsin, in December. We can handle cold weather; but we're not nuts. They also have ice cream, liquor and beer, a smallish grocery area with the basics. Don't expect top shelf organic produce.The standard ATM, DVD's, a copier, propane and firewood...a little something for everybody. And get this, they don't charge for air to pump up our tires. This place is a good fit for Cleveland. As it has everything a small town could need.By the way, the lady who took my money was wearing a mask. Her eyes told me she was smiling. I'll be back.

It's amazing that nobody working in Bondes tonight is wearing masks. Customers coming in without masks. They serve fresh food but who wants to eat it if this is their level of hygiene during a pandemic. The number of people going into Subway without a mask was concerning as well. I doubt anything inside Bondes is being sanitized, either. I got in and out as quickly as possible. I'll get my gas and items at Kwik Trip from now on. But if you too think Rona is probably nothing more than a town in Indiana, Bondes quik mark is your kind of place.
