Healthier - and less allergenic - deserts than you could find almost anywhere else. What's not to like?!On my first visit, I bought a very large selection and was surprised with the ones I liked best. Everything is subjective, but I would try anything with fruit and/or chocolate. That said, I did like that plain looking cookie a lot! :-) The chocolate donut was too dense for my wife (she likes them light), but I liked it a lot. The lemon bar was unexpectedly good. The pumpkin bar was good, too. Hmmm... I haven't been to the original location, but this newer spot was good. Everything is vegan and gluten-free. I'm vegan and gluten-friendly and I usually like the wheat kinds better, but they do alright. Came here for doughnuts, but those are only made on certain days, so we got a pair of chocolate cupcakes instead. The frosting was real nice. The cake part was ok. I liked it better than the kid did. I did notice that they had pumpkin pies available (as you can see in the picture), which is good to know as the vegan ones can be hard to find sometimes, especially without needing to preorder.Staff was super friendly and helpful. They were wearing a mask and they had a jug of sanitizer for customers.Street parking wasn't too hard to find on a Sunday.Worth a try. I'll be back to see how I like the pies.

Just go. I talk about this place so often to friends. Finding a bakery that is dairy free plus all the bad oils and sugars free, and it's NOT dry!! You can't order a bad thing in the place! My favorite is the cupcake, hazelnut drop cookies, the cashew something bar, the muffins, the orange rolls, the DONUTS on the weekend (they're more dense than a fluffy fat fried donut, but SO good!

I've had several pies, cakes and cupcakes from Blooming Lotus.....all of them have been amazing! My daughter chose the chocolate banana pie for her birthday and even the family members that aren't "healthy eaters " fought over the leftover pieces. The employees seem very kind and willing to help.
