Food was overpriced they wanted me to leave after 2 minutes and it smelled so not recomend

The owners of this place are gouging our community. Some of the prices are absolutely absurd. Today I went there for a jar of mayonnaise. A 30 Oz jar of Hellman's mayonnaise was $9.99. Everywhere else that I shop, the same jar is $7 at most. This is an emergency Only Store. Actually, I would rather drive 20 minutes to shop anywhere else.

I went there last night to pick up a bag of hamburger buns, not one on the shelf. A few hot dog buns and some weird brand of buns potato or something. Needless to say I walked out very unhappy. Sure do know how to fill the liquor department though. And most of the shelves were empty, SAD! I probably will never go back, will take extra time to go to Jewel in Huntley. :(

So rude and unfriendly here! Stay away. People from town don't go here. For a small country town they are so rude and unwelcoming. Rude rude rude !

Place smells. Service ladies smell like cigarettes. And when is the last time the last time the butcher shop has been cleaned?

Nice store! For a small convenient store, they have a large selection of beer & groceries, Best of all is their butcher section, fresh meat better quality than Jewel or Meijer & cut the way you want it. Their prices maybe higher but that's expected for a convenience store.

I think it's great we have a local grocery store to run to for small or larger grocery items!We moved to Hampshire in December and the owner has been nothing but KIND, helpful and has a smile on his face.I agree, produce is lacking... but I came from California and most grocery stores here in the Midwest (minus Whole Foods and possibly Mariano's) have difficulty in off seasons.Truly appreciate Blocks!

Blocks is perfect for last minute needs. They have put so much into improving its market ambience. The staff and owners are consistently friendly and welcoming! Their butcher shop meats and homemade brats are amazing! Thank you for staying in Hampshire!

Great liquor selection for a smaller, independent store. Old fashioned butcher counter. House-made sausages. Produce section can lack freshness at times. Overall, a definite asset to community.
