Blau's Saukville Meats

I have nothing but mad love for Blau's. Every time I come back to Wisconsin to visit family I stop at Blau's for some tasty sausages. My sons absolutely love their beef logs, while I love their bratwurst. Support family owned businesses, and Blau's is a treasure.

My habit of looking for meat markets when I'm out of town led me here while having lunch not far away so I stopped by. With a lack of reviews/pictures I didn't know what to expect and I had no real feel for the place. The place is small and no smoke smell which can be a bad sign if they make some items in house so I was going to be conservative with my purchases. The young man who greeted me was helpful and I asked him what they are famous for and he said the bacon, brats and some other items that were all seasonal with the bacon available now while the others not. I got a pound of the bacon which he vacuumed sealed for me to last longer and a frozen package of there hot dogs, fresh was not available. The place had this section of real dog bones, ears, cow claws etc in a whole cooler by itself which was cool if you have a dog. The place was not one of those places with all kinds of house made goodness to my surprise and pretty small. The fresh meat cooler was pretty small with some pork, beef, hams and smoked fish, not a huge vatiery like a lot of the meat shops that I have been to but bacon and sausages are my thing anyway.The bacon is so Smokey good so I wrapped it around their hot dogs and what a great tasty combination, wow that was very good. The bacon borders on what is perfect for my taste, not super thin or thick with a great smoke flavor, dam the lingering smell is amazing after cooking.

I took my deer here to get processed and they took me in right away and my order was ready in less than a week. I got the sausage meat sticks made in mild and pepper jack and they are super tasty. Their meat selection is also excellent, they've got extra thick cut bacon which is my favorite

I've bought various meats from Blau's for many years and it's always been excellent. They're very helpful in cutting the meat exactly as you want it it and have even broken up packages when I didn't need the whole amount. I highly recommend them for all your meat needs

I love this place! Always have what I need, whether it be bones for my dog, the best deli ham, smoked trout, great wrapped pork tenderloin, beef jerkey and many other awesome items. Their homemade spices are really good too, my favorite right now is Butter Garlic, which is great on veggies.

We've been buying our meats from Blau's for 20+ years. Yesterday I stopped for 2 thick cut ribeye steaks. We grilled them on an open flame and they were the absolute best steaks we've ever eaten. We usually get the porterhouse, but decided to try something different and they were AMAZING! If you want a great cut of meat for the grill, head to Blau's Saukville Meats. We will be back soon!

I haven't tried too many items, yet, but the smoked jalapeño cheddar brats are awesome. They might be my current favorite.

Delicious. We enjoy the hand cut and trimmed T Bone steaks the most. The real beef hot dogs, the smoked bacon and the ground chuck are fantastic.

Best place to buy steaks in the area. Each one is hand-cut to order. They also have an amazing variety of home-made sausage, cured bacon and ham and other foods. Highly recommended!

Wonderful local butcher shop. Very helpful staff and good selection. Many local made products as well. Starting to become my main weekend stop to be set for the week.
