Stopped in on a Saturday with my aunt for some coffee and a little breakfast. Was very happy to see they offer both sweet and savory options as most coffee places only offer sweets/baked goods. My aunt opted for the latte of the month which was lavender for April. I was less adventurous and got a red eye with the blueberry casserole that was on special. The blueberry casserole was a delicious muffin base with fresh blueberries and creamy mascarpone filling. Talked a bit with the new owners, they were very friendly. They also own a bakery and feature many of the sweets from their other business. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

New ownership and fresh ideas totally wowed me today! This place is like a breath of fresh air to me after trying so many coffee shops in southeastern Wisconsin and being disappointed no more ! They knocked it out of the park with the lavender latte (best I've ever had) and the food items also like nowhere I've ever been. Fresh made from scratch bakery, soups, açaí bowls, sandwiches (amazing chicken salad on croissant) and taste amazing! I tried the blueberry casserole with mascarpone and it was to die for! Perfectly soaked of creamy goodness! The muffins melt in your mouth and fresh blueberries in every bite! The bacon, egg, cheese and fresh spinach on a English muffin hit the spot! The vibe is relaxing and calming with a dual sided fireplace! The owners are super friendly, genuine and charismatic. There's even a drive through including fur baby lattes! Can't wait for the outdoor seating this spring and car shows to try more delectable foods! Note: get the punchcard because you're going to want to come back! They eve. Store them for you on site so you don't have to remember to bring it!

Bakery items made fresh. Quiche. Sandwiches. Home made soup. Coffee beans from Colectivo. Cold case with multiple kinds of drinks. This cozy nook feels like a living room, especially considering it has a two sided fireplace right in the middle of the den-like dining/sitting room.Located in a newer, very small "strip mall" building with plenty of lot parking.

Employees not wearing masks and one was coughing. So insult to injury based on public health concerns they get a one star. The coffee was meh.

Independent coffee shops. You can't beat them no matter how great the competing chain might be. Black Canyon Coffee is one of the most relaxing, laid back places I've visited. It's marked as a cafe rather than a coffee shop, but that's doing a disservice to both. The coffee options are the same as any other place, but there are more sizes available. BCC uses Alterra beans, the fair trade brand for Wisconsin. The menu items are pretty standard light cafe fare, but pretty popular judging from the carryout orders.Black Canyon has a freestanding see-through fireplace in the center of cafe. It was chilly outside the day I was there and I couldn't figure out why no one was sitting next to the toasty fire, but that's a Wisconsinite for you -- it isn't cold until it's in the below zero single digits. Surrounding the fireplace is a nice mix of tables and plush comfy chairs. There's nothing like sitting in a overstuffed chair, with a cup of good coffee in front of a fire. I hated to leave.BCC has wireless available, but according to the sign, only the first hour is free. Thereafter there's a nominal charge, but I didn't stay long enough to see how they managed the wi-fi after an hour, so maybe the fee is only to encourage people to be respectful of others.

Of all the small, family owned coffee shops I've been to, this one is my favorite. I always am greeted when I come through the doors and the staff always makes me feel like I'm welcome and genuinely happy to see me. The coffee is great, the açaí bowls are absolutely amazing. It's actually my favorite thing there!!! But between the great service ALWAYS, the awesome coffee and the phenomenal açaí bowls, this is one of my favorite spots.

Not very welcoming this morning. Americano was terriblynweak...my scone and cinnamon roll, while asked to have it warmed, was so hot the frosting all melted. The muffin was very dry. The seating area was chilly...no fireplace going on this cold morning. Not impressed at all.

Don't go to this place. We placed order, went to pay with Black Canyon Gift Card, and clerk said "we no longer take our own gift card" That gift card had no expiration date on it, the clerk said they changed systems. Just a poor way to run a coffee shop. They should have said today is on the shop, and I eat what was left on the gift card, as opposed to me getting ripped off 100 percent of the gift card. DON'T GO THERE, Go to the other shops near by.

Walked in, walked right back out. Despite state wide mandate requiring masks be worn inside, the two people(not sure if they are owners or not) were not wearing masks. I realize it's hard to enforce this with customers, but workers? C'mon, it's not that hard to wear a piece of cloth over your face when you are making and serving food and drink.
