Both myself and wife got sick today after eating thereShe had chilli which almost seemed like it came out of a can. The onion rings were not cooked properly. I had shrimp and garlic breadThe jalapeño peppers were good. The young lady who was our server had zero personality

The evening at Big Guys started out as a fun Friday night out with friends. The vibe in the restaurant was fun and we were talking about coming back during the summer. We ordered our food. Our friends ordered the fish fry and my husband and I ordered breaded shrimp. Service was good, our meals were good and then we were on our way. Two hours after our dinners my husband and I became violently sick. Our friends were perfectly fine, but our vomiting lasted for hours. My husband has rebounded but I'm still feeling lousy and in bed for the second day. I am not sure what the cause was but I was very surprised to read another review on Yelp where another couple was sick after eating at Big Guys

Great menu, super prices, very attentive service. First time visitor, we will be back. Seems like a fun place to go on a weekend.

Bar on the lake .. inside and outside dining , lower party room ... I had the bacon and chicken pizza... real good pizza... good selection on the menu, I hear a really good fish fry... they have a 45 dollar burger..nice place, fast and friendly service ....

This hole in the wall bar provides a great view of Pike Lake in Hartford. The food was amazing and the staff are beyond friendly. I stopped in to grab a quick lunch at the recommendation of my fiancé's family. I ordered the cheese soup with Brats and the steak sandwich. The sandwich was very tender and the steak was like butter. The soup was absolutely delicious. Next time I'm back in Wisconsin in the Hartford area I'll be stopping by here!

Trip back to my childhood hometown and really wanted a good Friday fish fry - I wasn't disappointed! Wait staff pleasant, view terrific, food hot and fresh (also the potato pancakes are TO DIE FOR). Next time I'll get the perch - think it might be better than the pollock. Oh, also - great views.

We were passing through and decided to stop in. We had no idea what to expect. We loved it and if we're ever back, we'll stop by. The food was very delicious and reasonable prices. The cheese nuggets were fantastic. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and funny. They have gorgeous spacious patio. Next time we have to get the pizza!

The worst chicken sandwich ever. Tons of fat, not trimmed or marinated. The parts that weren't fat we're also inedible - had a weird thick texture like it wasn't chicken? or maybe was frozen & unfrozen several times?Also appetizers had freezer burn, how can they still be in business with such awful food?'v

Love Big Guys Friday fish fry. Every time we go we are never disappointed. Great friendly staff.
