We have been admirers of Berres Brothers Coffee for many years. Whenever we are in Wisconsin and have access to a grocery store that sells Berres Brothers coffee, we are always sure to stock up!Today we were finally able to make our pilgrimage to the Berres Brothers Cafe in Watertown, WI. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience! The cafe is spacious, warm, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, there is plenty of space to stretch and lots of fun decor, delicious baked goods, home goods supplies for your coffee needs, and copious amounts of coffee! Plus the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great experience. We planned to stay for a few hours and work during our visit, so we were also thankful for a steady wifi signal and comfortable seating areas. We highly recommend this cafe as a work space, or a spot to catch up with friends! We got drip coffee during our visit and it was scrumptious. A favorite of ours is one of the classics: Highlander Grogg. There were also great holiday sales/deals for gifts, so we picked up a few gifts for family. All in all, our pilgrimage to Berres Brothers Cafe was a success and that makes us extra motivated to make the drive from Madison next time we are in town. However, for folks not able to make the drive, nor able to access WI grocery stores, Berres Brothers does have a great online/shipping presence. They make sure your coffee needs are covered. Thanks for making a great product and supplying our caffeine/coffee needs, Berres Brothers! See you next time!

Berres Brothers Pumpkin Caramel Coffee: Jeff and Pete Berres (The Berres Brothers) began selling their coffee in 1990 from Watertown, WI but the company has its origins dating back to 1970 with their father Marvin. They offer over 50 coffees and more than 40 flavored varieties, from the bold, bright, and full-bodied to the delectable and indulgent, so there's a flavor for everyone. Today's flavor is Caramel Pumpkin, but in my opinion the flavor profile favors one of those over the other. The caramel comes off much stronger on my palate and I wish it was the other way around as I picked this up more for the seasonal pumpkin flavor. I actually found it more drinkable when using only one Tablespoon of the grounds combined with one Tablespoon of grounds of one of my favorite regular coffee blends. In my opinion there are better pumpkin options out there, this one is just okay.*I brew my coffee using 8oz of water to 2 tablespoons of grounds, adding 1 packet of Splenda and 1.5oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milkDoughboy_Food_Reviews

This review is just regarding the cafe dining experience. The sandwiches are 5 star based on the few different ones I've had. Highlight is the incredible bread. I'm taking off 1 star based on the sub-par chef salad. The issues is the only vege on the salad (other than lettuce) was tomato. Even then, the tomato was sparse. Bizarre in that they have other veges there for the sandwiches. Why not put more on the salad, such as cucumbers? To end on a good note, the coffee is above average.

I have honestly never shopped in this Cafe, but I bought their coffee beans online. Their coffee is solid! The flavored coffees actually tastes like the flavors mention. For example, their chocolate raspberry coffee actually taste like chocolate raspberries, even if you drink it black. Another coffee bean company that I previously purchased from only taste like the flavor mentioned if you add cream, but I like my coffee as black as my soul. This place has good coffee! Just a note- I purchased the whole coffee beans, French press my coffee, add 205 degrees Fahrenheit water, and steep for three to five minutes.

My sister and I stopped in here for the first time on our way north. She lives in Arkansas and wanted to bring some kcups back with her when she goes at the end of the month. When we walked in we were not greeted and just kind of had to find our way through the cafe to the shopping area. She bought 20 cups for $12 and I bought a few individual packs for home. We walked to the cafe to check out and order a couple of drinks. The staff was not very welcoming, not rude so to speak, just seemed like they were literally there to do the basic of their job and then get on with their lives.

I really wasn't a flavored coffee guy until my mom moved to Wisconsin and sent me a small sample pack of this stuff called "Highlander Grogg" from this little coffee company near her house. The pack was enough for a pot it was love at first taste. Now every time I go to visit my mom, Berres Brothers is a must visit from me. Berres Brothers is a coffee company located in one of the least likely places in the United States, the small city of Watertown, Wisconsin. Since 1992 they've been roasting and serving up over a 100 kinds of coffee, 40 of those being the flavored kind. If you visit them, they also have a restaurant that serves breakfast, sandwiches, salads and wraps. It is almost always very crowded. Last time I ate there, I had the Supreme Grilled Cheese. Bacon, cheese and tomato on panini bread. Really good. But really I'm there for the coffee. You can buy it by the pound and they have everything you need. Bags, scales and a multi setting industrial grinder if you don't want the beans whole. You can also find coupon specials in the local free magazine. I got three pounds free when I bought six pounds of coffee. They also have a variety of teas, cups and other drink related knick knacks there. Check them out!

I do like the coffee and this is a cute place but when I went yesterday all three of the employees were not wearing masks. When there is a state mask mandate and covid cases are raging with 4300 new positive cases yesterday in the state, this is not okay.

We've been here many times, the food is great and the coffee is pretty good. The workers at the front counter are pretty unfriendly. Although when I've bought things from the retail area the lady that helped us there is great! She needs a raise! I Don't care if you are wearing masks or not, that is a personal choice for your workers. So I applaud Berres for not forcing those who have health reasons not to. More than anything the atmosphere and shopping makes the experience top notch. We've loved meeting up for breakfast with our family here. Recently, I'm assuming for COVID reasons, they no longer do breakfast. Which is a huge loss, I remember going one morning with my husband. All excited to sit and have some food. Come to find the menus stripped. We walked out. Sad to say that's the main reason we come, definitely not for the coffee and not for the customer Service.

Love me some Berres Brothers. The service is always exceptional and the drinks are always exactly as I order. The store's stock is so full and I can always find exactly what I want.
