Excellent, clean, well-stocked, grocery store. They have many specials every week, and their meat department is the best in town. A little high price, but you get what you pay for. Fresh produce is also a Berkot's staple. Their deli department is second to none, and there hand-crafted sandwiches and sides are awesome. You can purchase the sandwiches at the deli and enjoy them while you take a break from shopping (they have a small dining area). Sometimes they get special purchases on bulk blueberries, and strawberries, which you can pre-order in the summer. Take a trip and visit and you'll find out why they are the best in Burlington.

Please start checking expiration dates,I have got home with expired items other wise good store,just please have employees remove expired items,I really want Gooseberries back never disappointed

I remember when Berkot's used to be Gooseberries. They were always excellent. Once it became Berkot's, they have been terrible. Not long ago, I went in to by filets and waited at the meat counter for a very long time. Someone that worked in the deli walked by me and I asked him if anyone could help me. His response was "it's not my problem". I went in there today to give them another try. There was a sign posted that said "the meat department closes at 3". WOW. I will never go back

Having to use digital coupons is a load of crap. Loyalty rewards aren't good enough? Now they want you to jump through another hoop?I won't shop there except in a bind. Prices aren't that great.
