Bee's Oriental Foods Market

Dead and over priced. Barely anymore there anymore the new owner doesn't look like he knows how to add more to the business from what the pervious owner had sold off to him. Not good then not good now.

I have to say with full certainty that this is the best Oriental food store in the entire city. It sell mochi (rice bread with stuffed filling), seaweed, pocky sticks (like a cracker stick with icing), and a lot of soups. The store's exclusive products make up for its somewhat cluttered appearance and sometimes odd pricing. For beginners, I recommend talking to the staff to explain some products but if you're feeling daring, I would try them out as some products are simply unexplainable to outsiders who never had a taste of something so culturally different.My recommendations: The soda there is alright and has a slightly distinct flavor but isn't noticeable unless you are a true soda connoisseur. The mochi tastes like edible rice bubblegum with the taro filling reminding me of a coffee, perhaps latte. It's a must try. My favorite so far has to go to the pocky sticks because they make a great snack for one or even two if you get creative.

Probably the biggest Asian Store in the OshKosh area. Good selection. Very friendly owner. Has groceries, rice, produce, candies, and a ton of other asian products that you can't find elsewhere.

I can't praise this place enough! The food is great quality and they really do have hard-to-find items. They also don't just stock things from just a couple of countries; you can find things from all over the East! The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very helpful. No worries if you don't speak an Asian language: they are fluent in English! I will definitely go back!

Extremely friendly staff and best variety of international foods around town. I can find all my favorites in one tiny place. Very handy!
