First time at Bawi last evening and wow what an asking place. It's a flat fee ($40) all you can eat Korean BBQ. From apps, to noodle salads, rices, and then of course pork, beef, and chicken. Usually all you can eat places are slow on refills but not here. Our waitress was regularly checking in, giving advice on how to cook and what's good, refilling drinks, etc.The restaurant isn't huge but the set up makes it feel like you have plenty of space. I will 100% be back. The only criticism I could give is I wish they had a dine in, non all you can eat option

First time at Bawi and my sister and I will be coming back! We have been trying to find out "home" KBBQ since recently moving into the area. Well, Bawi has stolen that spot! Our waiter Kong, was attentive and was on top of our meats and drinks all night. He was the best! The quality and ambiance of the place was top-notch.

First time at Bawi and definitely not our last! Our family of 6 thought it was a wonderful experience. Kong was our main server and he was very attentive, had great energy, and gave us great suggestions. The other staff members were just as friendly and helpful. The restaurant is spacious, and clean. The selection of meats and seafood were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We ordered 3 varieties of protein and were also offered a platter of pork including pork belly. Everything was scrumptious! The menu includes some very interesting appetizers. We really enjoyed the Korean Corndogs, spicy Ramen, japchae, and wings. Seaweed salad, kimchi, and pickled radish were also included. You definitely get your money's worth. I can't forget the list of dessert options. We left very satisfied and enjoyed grilling our meal. If you're craving for Korean BBQ, Bawi is the place to go!

What a great experience! We were looking to go out last Friday, but wanted to do something a little different from the boring sit down restaurants. Called bawi and they didn't have that long of a wait so we rushed right over. The restaurant itself is brand new, everything looked clean and perfect...love the decor btw. Our waitress was so helpful in explaining Korean bbq style dining(we both had never been). I assumed since it was ayce the food quality might be lacking, but it absolutely wasn't! Buckets of crab legs, wagu steak, scallops, they had it all! We started with spring rolls and spicy fried chicken as our appetizers, the fried chicken was amazing! All the sauces were homemade and I loved the lettuce wraps they brought to the table! At one point our grill started smoking(we used a delicious dry rub they have on all the tables) but our waitress immediately showed up and swapped out our grill with a clean one. Price point was what I would expect for the experience($45 a person)Can't wait to go back and try the seafood boil and ramen options. We were just too stuffed at that point.

What a great dining experience! From the moment we walked in it smelled fresh and authentic. Love the aesthetics and the Korean TV and music. The tables were perfectly set and we were welcome to immediately begin experience. All you can eat for $40 a person with up charges for the seafood boil or the Wagyu. The regular menu was more than we could consume, but we tried our best to try lots the calamari steaks were the perfect size and tenderness as well as the marinated chicken. New York strips were so flavorful, tender and lean. The short ribs did fall short, unfortunately were very fatty and difficult to chew with not much meat. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious as were the dumplings, corn, noodles and mochi varieties. I can't wait to go back to try the other seafood and meet options. Service was impeccable, helpful, and friendly. They even have a market place and back, which unfortunately I didn't get a picture But totally worth exploring and shopping for your Korean pantry at home.

This place was recommended by a friend. Although it's 30 minutes away from us, we decided to take the drive. We figured it's not over an hour drive like our usual Korean spot in Chicago. We went for their Holiday special, it was $50 AYCE and it included crab legs and seafood boil. We walked in and we were immediately greeted by the young waiters. They seated us and explained the menu. The ambiance was really cute and hip. We got appetizers, some meat options, crabs legs and a seafood boil. For appetizer, we got the Korean fried chicken, dumplings and egg rolls. The chicken was so good, crisp on the outside but juicy on the inside. The dumpling were not the Chinese dumplings I was thinking, but they were still good. The meat cuts were top tier and super juicy and the seafood boil was flavorful. The crab legs were just ok. We also got some boba. I got the Thai tea and husband got the strawberry matcha. They were both soooo yummy ( drinks are not included in the AYCE). The banchan was limited, we only had 3 options, which was disappointing. That was redeemed with their moon pie and ice cream dessert, it was soooo yummy. Overall we had a great meal with friendly service, we are decimal going back.

This is a cute little place. The food is always amazing here. Service is always great. We did the Christmas Special and the crab legs and seafood boil were on point! Sauce was delicious for the boil. Kong was an exceptional server! He was very attentive and quick. Answered our questions thoroughly. All in all we will come back again!

My husband and I recently tried Bawi. It's not a bad price for all you can eat. The meat was good quality, and so were the scallops, squid, and shrimp. I really like the marinated short rib, NY strip, and had about 5 orders of the garlic shrimp. I only had the spicy ramen and didn't try the other appetizers or noodles. The ramen was okay. Next time, I plan on trying the glass noodles. Service was friendly and quick. Our grill was changed out when there was too much char.Definitely will be going there again. Oh...can't forget about the desserts. Moon pie ice cream was okay. The ube ice cream bar was good and nice cool end to a meaty meal.

$40 all you can eat Korean bbq. Can't really go wrong with that. Feel like there could be a bit more choices for the meats, as well as for the condiments, but I'm not complaining. We did have to keep asking the servers to change our heating plate though. Recommend the melona ice cream for dessert if you still have room at the end.

absolutely LOVED! bawi Korean BBQ. we had been putting off trying this place until we were super hungry given its only all you can eat, but finally decided we needed to try. menu is filled with tons of different meats (I'm saying at least a dozen different options) that you grill on the table yourself. they all were so well marinated and tender, our personal favorite was the spicy beef bulgogi. there were also plenty of apps & hot or cold noodles to accompany. the table also came with rice, some little accompaniments (kimchi, pickled radishes, etc) & a ton of different sauce options. the menu also has a couple different types of Korean liquors & desserts! TONS of food so have to come hungry, but will definitely be back!
