Nice Farmers Market held along the river in downtown Batavia. Many vendors are local farmers selling various plants and vegetables. Nice selection of coffees and teas along with pastries for customers to enjoy. Plenty of street parking available. This Farmers Market is held every Wednesday night and Saturday mornings .

We've tried many of the local farmers markets and I really like the setup of this one in Batavia. The street is closed to cars and the pavement is even. There are plenty of parking lots and street parking both free of charge. We found many good items including a vendor selling beignets with local honey and Crumble Pies and Pastries whose gluten free items I could not pass up. You can also find farm fresh flowers, vegetables, soaps, teas, meats and dog treats with over 50 vendors there. I wish the hours went a bit longer into the afternoon as they are only open 8 am to noon every Saturday and they have several restaurants represented that would be good for lunch. A great way to enjoy a beautiful morning.

Nice market in a great location. One a month they have extra vendors for their Artisan market, which will keep you busy.I typically get here bread, produce, beef jerky, small flower arrangements, juice, and sweets. Walk over to the boardwalk shops with cute offerings (bakery, door signs, wooden pieces, macrame store, charcuterie, home decor, to name a few). The businesses change every spring to give new businesses opportunities. This is right downtown so plenty to do and a nice walk along the River.

There definitely need to be more winter farmer's markets like this one! It's in a small indoor space at The Dock; be aware that there are a few steps up and there is no ramp, which they do note on their website. The inside space is small but there weren't too many customers, so it was ok. We found everything from baked goods to meats, eggs to grow-your-own mushroom kits, with a couple of produce vendors present as well with items ranging from root veggies to microgreens. Among the items my friend and I purchased were scones and hand pies from Crumble (loved the cran-orange scone, not too sweet), an everything-spiced croissant from Gather Bakery (yummy! Would make a great base for a savory sandwich like chicken salad or herbed cream cheese), coffee from Java Plus (I don't drink coffee but he said it was really good), and summer sausage from Burgin Farms (they had quite a few varieties of sausages). Definitely a nice pick-me-up on a wintry weekend morning! Only open 9-12, so get up early and get to Batavia for the indoor market!

This was a nice market. It's right by the river in downtown batavia. The scenery is beautiful! They have quite a few vendors from soaps to baked goods, healthy drinks and hot food. I will say fresh fruits and veggies are scarce here and that's why I took a star off. But I did end up getting a dozen eggs and fresh milk from a meat stand. And I also got beinets. This is a cute market to come to again every now and again.

Between the number of local farmers/butchers and the great location (right on the Fox River!), this is one of the best farmers markets I have found. Parking is plentiful. The produce is fresh & delicious. The vendor on the north end has apple cider donuts (even in August) and the one on the south end has elotes and breakfast tacos. There is a coffee place, a fresh juice place, a used bookstore, art for sale on the sides, a great selection of meat & dairy including duck eggs... just an awesome variety and an awesome place to spend a Saturday morning. Grab a pastry and take a walk with your boo or your little ones across the Peace Bridge!

Excellent farmers market on Saturday mornings. Variety of shops including breads, bakeries, fresh fruits and veggies from farm stands, soap and home goods, live music, balsamic vinegar and olive oil stand, and more. The icing on the cake: live cooking demonstration from Gaetano's restaurant in Batavia. We picked up a bottle of fig balsamic, fresh made sausage from Gaetano's and some other goodies!!

Beautiful location, lively street music, friendly atmosphere, everyone having a good time; that's my kind of place! I like to take my two small dogs with me and stroll through the brick lined street while people watching. Highly recommend this farmers market!!

Yelp has the wrong location. See the website Market has tons of vendors, but few farmers. There are smoothies and vita drinks, essential oils and soaps, meat and bread. For produce I 'll go somewhere else.

A fun place to spend a Saturday morning! While you can park downtown, I like to go for a morning run or walk with the dog and poke through on our way. From breakfast tacos to smoothies to fresh breads and more, there is always something tasty to treat yourself with.
