Have only been here once (so far) and it was around 6pm on a W or Th...the bar was full and patrons were pretty well oiled for an early summer weeknight, . The bartender was a one man show tending the locals and also cooking & serving the food. Food was delicious, inexpensive and totally worth a lil wait. Will be back!

the atmosphere is quaint and friendly, the owner Chris is very sociable and a great host ! my wife and I had beef brisket sandwiches that were nothing short of outstanding ! The previous time that we were at this eatery was for Friday fish fry that was also outstanding . I think that we will stop by for the pulled pork sandwiches, next time !

First time here though we drive by all the time. Ordered a takeout lunch on a Thursday due to them mentioning smoked wings and brisket.Wow! Wings were cooked perfectly with a nice hint of smoke. The brisket sandwiches had a big pile of meat that also was smoked nicely. And the Italian beef - enough for 2 meals.Can't say enough good things about the quality of their lunch and the period size. Very nice folks as well. Definitely be back.

Great Wisconsin bar with good food and good prices. I have only been there (a number of times) for the Friday fish fry but they have specials every day. The fish fry is very good and worth the trip. Very friendly clientele. Nice patio out back by the side of Bassett creek.
