We came for the pre picked strawberries. The berries were delightful and the process to pay and pick up the berries was super efficient. Price seemed on par with other farms. There is plenty of parking. We hope to come pick strawberries here next year!

We stopped at Basses this weekend, it has become a yearly tradition for us but this year we got to experience Pumpkin Fest! There were a lot of different stations and activities for our little one to do which made the cost worth it, it was not as crowded or overwhelming as I expected. Thankfully we bought our tickets online so we got right through the line without having to wait. The line in the store moved fast. Our experience was positive and we can't wait to come back next year.

Place is great. BUT it's getting too expensive. 2 kids and 1 adult was already $65!!!! And that doesn't include a free pumpkin If you were to go here make sure you pack snacks/lunch because if you don't you're going to fork down $150-200 if you're a family of 4-5 people.

Came for pumpkinfest and had a blast here. They have so many different activities and events for all ages and adults, not just kids! Plenty of different games, a corn maze, tractor ride, shows, farm animals, food, and plenty more. Thought it was a bit pricey for october weekend admission but you do get access to a ton of different things with it. Pumpkin patch itself was dwindling when we got there but it was also later in the afternoon and definitely a peak weekend. The general store/market at the entrance/exit had plenty of stuff too although I wish it was a bit bigger to allow for more browsing rather than being just a one way line inside to the register. Glad I got to pick up some apple cider and apple cider donuts here though, and overall a great place to spend a day at!

We went to Basse's for strawberry picking as it is not far from our house. It was the first day of the picking season since this wasn't a good year for the strawberry harvest. It was plently busy with families taking their kids into the fields to pick. When you arrive you park and then find the U Pick strawberry area which is basically a barn. Here they explain the deal to you - grab a carrier, 5lb minimum even if you don't pick 5lbs you are still charged for it, go stand outside and the tractor will take you to the fields. The tractor ride isn't far and once you arrive a youngster explains the row system and how you will pick strawberries from your "assigned" row. As mentioned earlier they stated the season wasn't good but when we got to the fields there were plenty of berries even at 10:30AM. The fields were not muddy or override with mosquitoes so it was a fairly enjoyable experience. The plants yielded many sweet red strawberries. We ended up with 7lbs of ripe berrries of various sizes. Surprisingly they don't take cash, it's all cashless. I say that because I was expecting the opposite. But it was a quicker checkout experience. They weigh you, you charge it and go on your way. There is also a farm store with goodies. We decided to try the strawberry donuts and they were delicious. Warm and fresh, just like somebody's grandma makes them. In additon they have a lemonade stand which seemed fairly popular.Overall it was a good experience. Since it's so close I'd likely go picking here again!

It is a decent experience for the family. It is a bit pricey. Check the forecast before going. They don't do rain checks and will close for drizzle

I was pleasantly surprised by Basse's! As a group of 24 year olds trying to relive our childhood, a few friends and I came on a Saturday to enjoy what we thought would be a fun little pumpkin patch. When we walked in, we realized it was so much more. There's so many fun activities I can't even begin to name them all. There were animal shows, pig races, corn mazes, slides, obstacle courses, a ton of other activities, and obviously pumpkins everywhere. While it's obviously a great place for families, they also catered to the older crowd with adult beverages, the apple beer is a must try, a bunch of amazing food trucks, and even had TVs for the college football fans sacrificing their Saturdays for fall festivities. We ended up spending over 4 hours here. I highly recommend! COVID Precautions: All staff were wearing masks and there were multiple signs encouraging social distancing but it's not heavily enforced for customers. More often than not, people were not wearing masks or staying 6ft apart from other guests.

I stopped by here yesterday to go apple picking with my family and their orchard is full to the brim with delicious honey crisp apples! Probably the best honey crisp apples I've ever had! If you've got younger kids they've got so much going on in the fall to entertain them including an animal barn, a corn maze, and a jumping pillow. They also have a gift shop with a bunch of homemade treats and souvenirs. I tried their fresh apple-cider donuts and while they were a bit pricey, they were totally worth it. I highly recommend you come check this place out for some family fun!

This is our second Fall season going to Basse's and I would 100% go back again next year. There is something for everyone there, but it is mostly geared toward families: I will make sure to note it is not the cheapest outing, but definitely worth doing once a year with friends and family. There is an entrance fee to get in and I would say about half the things there require an additional fee. There are a few free things like watching the pig races or playing some of the games. My favorite part is definitely the food trucks and the barn with the bar. We were all able to get different things to eat and then eat in the barn, where there are a ton of long tables - perfect for large groups. It's definitely worth the drive from downtown and I'm sure we will be back next year!

The place is fun, they have lots of activities for kids of all ages. We took the hayride out to the pick your own pumpkins. Made sure to grab nice healthy ones on the vine. Unfortunately, within a week of having them, they are already really rotten. They have been kept in shade at our house. Disappointed to pay so much to get in and have rotten pu.pkins we can't carve.
