A great place for lunch and dinner! My friend recommended Bass Bay and it didn't disappoint. The food is pretty good and the bar is quite charming, as too.The service is attentive and friendly. I love their fish fry!

Service was slow and food was cold. Loud and overpriced.I don't understand why this place is popular. Not worth the trip.

Date of visit: November 16, 2024Had a wonderful time visiting with some former co-workers here! This is WAY out of my normal area, and I felt like I should have brought my passport as I entered the town.Food was great; my Breakfast Club was divine! I swapped out the chipotle mayo for regular mayo because I am a total lightweight when it comes to anything spicy and I also really enjoyed the cheesy hashbrown casserole as well. I finished with a banana bread thing that was delightful. The service was good, though once the check was paid, the server vanished like my youth and it would have been nice to get some more water while we hung out and chatted some more. The restaurant was not too busy so I didn't feel bad hanging on to the table for a bit.

We are from out of town but were in the area for a competition and stumbled upon this place for our post-victory dinner. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, we were mesmerized by the view. The sun was setting on the lake and it was absolutely gorgeous. It was a bit chilly but we decided to sit on the patio which was warmed by some portable heaters to enjoy the view. Our waitress, Grace, was great! We started the evening with a few drinks and cheese curds. The cheese curds were amazing! The food came out really quickly too. For my meal, I was between the crab cake sandwich and the mac and cheese. Grace suggested the mac and cheese which was a bit of a low point. The pasta was dry. The dinner roll tasted old. I was also pretty disappointed to find I paid $5 extra for 4 small pieces of shrimp. The other people in my group enjoyed their food though.TLDR: skip the mac and cheese. order the cheese curds. enjoy the great service and even better views.

If you are ever in the area to stop by the wonderful find. Please do so and enjoy the Bloody Marys. The spicy pickle ones are the way to go. It's always a must stop when I'm in Wisconsin. The bartender who has been here for years will provide great service and the staff will take care of you. If you wanna sit at a table and enjoy a meal , sit outside along the water.

The expansive back patio is the draw at Bass Bay Brewing, so make sure you get a table outside. It overlooks a small lake, so you have a view of the water which is especially gorgeous at sunset. Our server was outstanding and made sure to give us plenty of context and opinions on the large menu, although it took us a while to get a server assigned to our table after we were seated. They've got a daily fish fry. I had a great Kentucky bourbon mule, and they had a few beers on tap in collaboration with Explorium Brew Pub when we were there. For my entree, I ordered a portobello mushroom sandwich for the entree and asked for onion rings, but received french fries instead. I'd say this restaurant is more of an ambiance pick, but maybe I just need to try more items on the menu!

Recently had my first experience at Bass Bay Brewhouse and it was exemplary from beginning to end. My dining companion and I started off with cocktails. I got the sazerac, he got their 1920 classic old fashioned. The sazerac was spot on perfect with just the lightest lovely hint of absinthe. I also tried the old fashioned and it was perfect as well. For our appetizer, we got the spinach artichoke dip. It is huge! Definitely better suited to a table of four but we were happy to have some to box up and take home. The dip was super thick and hearty, not to mention tasty. I've had spinach artichoke dip be kinda soupy--not so at Bass Bay Brewhouse. It was packed with spinach and artichoke. We had to force ourselves to save room for our entree! For my entree, I got the seared scallops which comes served over a hearty serving of beet goat cheese risotto, The scallops were cooked perfectly (cooked through but not rubbery with a nice sear). The beet goat cheese risotto was sensational--so flavorful! One word of warning--eat the scallops separately as the risotto is so flavorful it overwhelms the delicate shellfish. It was so good, though. I would absolutely order this again. We were enjoying the experience so well that we decided to linger for an after dinner drink. I got a boulevardier and my dining companion got a bourbon manhattan. Again--literal perfection. Our server was kind and attentive throughout and the bartender was lovely as well. Do yourself a favor and--Get to it!

The first time my fiancé and I were here there was a mishap, however, the General Manager has been truly amazing about it. We came back to dine again and everything was great from the food to the service! The speciality drink, a spicy pear, had the perfect amount of fruity flavors with the spice. All of the food had such good flavors but the cookie butter creme brûlée was one of the best I've had! I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back again!
