Well, it is conveniently located in Milwaukee's Discovery World Museum. The child with us likes the grilled cheese sandwich. Do not order the item called Beef "Taco" Bowl. Perhaps we are spoiled for great Mexican food in our hometown of San Diego, but the taco bowl is bland with flavorless beef, little cheese, no discernible spice (except for black pepper), and no tortilla or tortilla chips. It is the worst thing I have ever tasted in visits to Wisconsin. The chicken Parmesan sandwich was nothing to write home about as well. Stick to the burgers, pretzels, cheese curds, and pizza slices. They do have good coffee. The restaurant seems to be understaffed. Service is a bit slow.

My husband and I had our wedding at Pier Wisconsin and It was an absolute treasure of a night, thanks in no small part to the Bartolotta team. Our point of contact Julie was fantastic. She walked us through every step of the wedding planning process and let us know about all the little details we didn't even consider before. I was a huge weight off our shoulders to have our venue and catering run by the same company. The day of Julie seemed to be everywhere and made sure everything ran smoothly. She attended even to the little details, like asking my shoe size so she could leave a pair of the "dancing" flip flops by my seat, or making sure a server from the cocktail hour team found us while we were talking pictures (speaking of THOSE CHEESE CURDS, AMAZING).Our guests loved having the aquarium during the cocktail hour, and getting to pet stingrays was a blast. The Bartolotta team made quick work of transforming the Pilot House from our ceremony to dinner set up, and included setup time for our custom centerpieces and place cards (since we had no florist).Everything went perfectly and our friends are still raving about how fantastic of a wedding it was. Thank you Bartolotta for making our evening magical.

Give me a mini crabcake as a passed hors d'oeuvres any day at a Pier Wisconsin event (or anywhere, at any event, for that matter). I was pleasantly surprised by the still warm, meaty interior. The breaded exterior was light and crispy, a perfect compliment to the crab meat. The meat appeared to be lump crab too, definitely not the imitation kind. The real applause goes to Bartolotta's for supporting a good cause: the Guesthouse. A dear friend is on the Board, and you helped make their fundraising event, "Wine Not," a success! The only disappointing part for me was the size of the apps. They were so delicious, I wanted them to be more like a two-bite hors d'oeuvres, as opposed to a single bite.

Went to a wedding at Discovery World in September 2019 and wanted to sincerely compliment the staff there. The servers were friendly and smiled throughout the evening. It really made me notice their service. Also the meal portions were extremely generous and the food was good! Usually wedding meals are small portions and just ok tasting but not here! Thanks to your staff for making us guests happy and comfortable.

Absolutely an unbelievable experience! I had my wedding here on 6/29/19 and let me start this review by saying that I cannot recommend this place enough! I chose Discovery World Museum as my venue because I really like the way the building looks and the views are easily some of the best in Milwaukee. My point of contact and venue coordinator was Madeline Cope. From my initial email to the last one, she was extremely attentive, gave awesome recommendations and thought of details that both my (now) wife and I didn't even think about at the time but now realize how impactful it made our wedding. I have seen the wedding planning process done with friends and other family and I was always afraid of having that same stress with my wedding, but with Madeline helping and all the options available through Bartollota Catering, the whole process was unbelievably easy. The food was outstanding - especially the grilled cheese and tomato soup appetizer (GET IT - trust me on this one) and the ravioli and steak meals were probably some of the best dishes we've had. Our guests could not stop talking about the food all night! We had our cocktail hour in the aquarium and our main event at the Pilot house. The aquarium was perfect for that portion because it felt intimate and the lighting and tanks were just stunning and a great conversation starter between guests. The pilot house was perfect for the wedding because it has this amazing 360 degree view of the city and lake (and Summerfest) plus the balcony is just an added bonus for guests to walk around, enjoy their drinks and take in the views. The service was that of a 5 star hotel - all of the staff members were super kind, always smiling, sharply dressed and just so pleasant to talk with. Madeline coordinated just about everything once the celebrations started, from us walking out for ceremony, the transition between the ceremony to dinner (another cocktail hour), drinks after dinner and lastly our fireworks. We chose to have our first dance after dinner and wanted to surprise our guests with fireworks during our dance (Discovery World offers that service by the way). She knew how long our song was and coordinated it PERFECTLY with their fireworks crew so that as soon as I dipped my wife at the end of the song, the fireworks launched EXACTLY at that moment. My family, my guests and especially my wife were so amazed at how beautiful this wedding turned out that they kept talking about it all weekend and I'm still getting texts and emails as I'm writing this review! Madeline Cope was perfect, Discovery World was perfect and Bartolotta Catering was perfect. I honestly hope that my sincerest admiration shows in this review.
