Bar 430

The food was a bit overpriced not really much shrimp per taco about 2-3 pieces in each taco. The expresso martini was good and fresh. Service was great along with the good music being played. Nice selection on the playlist.

The restaurant peaked my friends interest due to the number of gluten free options. We went on a Saturday just as the farmers market was ending. The restaurant was busy, which I get but the sitting feels jam packed and uncomfortable. Stuffy and hot too. They only offered a brunch menu at the time we were there. Not much to pick from. The loaded potatoes was very sad looking. Flat, hardly any toppings and just boring for the price. The breakfast tacos also looked sad. Visually unappealing and tasted ok. My breakfast sandwich was pretty good. Our server seemed stoned but I think it is hard to find good servers these days. I think the restaurant is popular and the drinks looked good but I doubt I'll be back.

This is where you go to fix a hangover... and anytime really. Food is fantastic and drinks are too. You can't go wrong at Bar430, they even have a decent NA selection.

I've had tried this place three times. Each time is a different disappointment. I gave it a shot. The place has a really cool aesthetic which is why I keep trying but I think I'm done. The food is fine but I will say, we ordered the wings listed on the menu was a pound of wings (we don't need a pound of wings but that's what it said), the order came with six wings. Not a pound. It's the service that is unacceptable. No one greats you, no one tries to help you, questions are treated like a bother and the overall attitude of the staff is terrible. I shouldn't have to flag down a person, I should be checked on, I should be given a dang napkin. They are all very rude. The staff needs to be hospitality trained, clearly this has not happed.

Colton is the best server and bar tender here. He is so attentive and had amazing drink suggestions. When we come back we will ask for him.

Very chic environment for being a small space. Great location downtown on main street. During the summer they open the garage door they have in the front for a nice breeze. They also put out tables with umbrellas during the summer out front. They have parking on the main street and a shared lot in back. They have a few tvs with sports on but music playing instead of tv sound which is nice.Food and their cocktails are so good! Really anything you pick on the menu you'll be happy with. They do not have many beer options on tap, but the ones they have are unique and all different local styles and flavors. We get bloody marys every time we are here! Nice thick flavor and not too much tomato. If you like them spicy you have to tell them though. Not 5 stars because service is usually lackluster, usually college students just trying to talk and flirt with one another instead of do their job or they just try to do the bare minimum.

We were there on a fairly busy Saturday night without a reservation. Some delay in getting a table and some delays with service. Female servers were pleasant enough. I had black bean burger with side salad-vinaigrette. Really tasty meal. Companion enjoyed BLT with Avocado (gotta love it!) and great French fries she said. Wonderful decor with exposed brick and wood. A bit of a college clientele but I would go back when in Oshkosh.

Really cool place - hip interior, downtown vibrant location, great music, amazing food & drink. This could easily be a regular stop on our rotation if we lived in the area.... However, I don't want to say that service wasn't friendly but there's definitely an insider vibe club here. We struggled a bit placing our orders but everything came out perfect and delicious. We closed out and for both of us having full dinners and drinks and for it being fairly empty inside and being such an intimate setting, - we were surprised there was no goodbye or thank you, or have a good night?

This is in my top favorite restaurants in Oshkosh! Their fries served with aioli are to die for! Their menu offers a wide variety of dishes such as burgers, ramen, breakfast tacos, bao buns and curry nachos - somehow everything is amazing! Normally I would say with a menu that doesn't stick to one cuisine, it mustn't be good, somehow I haven't yet tried anything on the menu that I didn't like and I've almost tried everything? 10/10 recommend

Do not come here if you have food intolerance/allergies and in need of accommodation. The waitstaff is clearly clueless about such requests.I am breastfeeding my two month old child who has a severe allergy to dairy. I went to this restaurant recently and expressed that I cannot have dairy. That means no cheese, milk, or BUTTER. I'm not sure if the server just didn't know that butter is dairy but I've been waitressing for years now and am fully aware to communicate when my table has had food allergies and I've always confirmed with them and the kitchen to be 100% sure I got it right.When fed dairy my daughter has severe reflux, so she is in pain, cannot keep her food down, etc. it is extremely painful to watch and when your child has an allergy to something you eat, and you avoid that allergen, if you accidentally get reintroduced, the process starts ALL over. Her symptoms are now back because of a mistake this waitress made, presumably not making the kitchen fully aware of this request. This was the only time I had eaten out this entire week and therefore the ONLY way I could have been accidentally served dairy. I ordered fries that came out with cheese on it after I expressed said allergy, and when I requested them to remake the dish due to there being cheese on it, the dish then came back out within 30 seconds with half the amount of fries it initially had, as if they had just picked off the top half and given me the rest.Then I ordered the breakfast tacos which must have been cooked with some sort of butter or dairy based margarine with either the steak, eggs, or something. There's just no way I could've had a reaction to anything else I've eaten.I used to love bar 430 but will never go again :/
