Back Street BBQ & Hotpot

Somewhat overwhelming, but in a good way? An all you can eat Korean BBQ and hotpot joint with no shortage of options to choose from, our night at Back Street BBQ was one I won't soon forget. The ambiance is cozy and the staff was incredible, anticipating our every need and keeping our grill and hot pot well-stocked. Makes for a fun night out with a group or could be a unique dining option for couples looking to try someplace new.

This was our first time eating here with a large group, and the service was excellent. The food came out quickly, and we ordered the soup and BBQ option, which offered a great variety of meats, seafood, appetizers, broth, veggies, and noodles.While the menu had plenty of choices, I felt that some of the meat and seafood lacked flavor. They do have a sauce station to add your own flavor, but I personally prefer when the main dishes are marinated beforehand.Overall, our family agreed that the food was good, but we'd still prefer KPot in Greenfield, as their dishes tend to have a bit more flavor.

Lots of options for bbq meats and hotpot items. I liked how modern everything felt and we had great service while dining here. I went with a group of four and our server was super helpful in helping us order without over-ordering. There's a sauce bar with some cold appetizers, fruits, and desserts. I think this place does well with their meat selection and seasoning. The meat felt more fresh and the seasoning was not overly sweet or salty like the other ayce places around the area. However, I did notice their hot pot broths were more on the bland side. I normally get the spicy hotpot option anywhere I go, and felt like this place was not the spiciest or most fragrant i've had. Good thing there's a sauce bar! I'm glad this place opened up and will definitely frequent

Sunday night dinner with my sisters brought us to Back Street (I don't think it was named after one of the greatest boy bands). We were able to get a table with no wait around 6:30 p.m.. The entry way was nicely decorated with cute items from the 80s and 90s, a cherry blossom tree, and cute street table. The tables had fake grass and fog coming out of the top. The staff was attentive and very friendly. There isn't a limit to how many items can be ordered at one time. The price for both the BBQ and hot pot was not bad. I had the hot and spicy soup base which was flavorful and served in a cute pot. The meat option was the usual choices but a little bit different from other places where the pork was more of bacon style than the bone in strip. The only thing is there wasn't a lot of vegetables or varying kimchi.Overall, if you have a Korean BBQ itch, then it is a good spot for decently priced Korean BBQ and hotpot.

The hot pot is amazing. We've been here for bbq before as well. It's a lot of the same items so it's also good. I just personally don't like having to wait for everything to cook as hot pot is much faster. The sauce bar is great to be able to make things unique to your taste. Staff is extremely attentive and it's a great value for the price.

The establishment just opened in March of 2024. I came with a humble party of 3. AMBIANCE: Back Street BBQ and Hotpot doesn't look like much from the outside. However, the inside is gorgeous. The interior design is very thoughtful and you're taken into a transformed space. The flames that line the seating area look so real. Their main entrance has a few corners you can pop off into to get that good selfie. There's music playing in the background but it's not overwhelmingly loud. On the day I came, the music was on point. SERVICE: My server for the day was Jacky. He made a gal feel special for her birthday. Our water cups were NEVER empty. He checked on our table so many times. We kept adding food and he didn't leave a single item off. He went over the menu for us and even stopped in and helped turn some of our meats over. Also, he was great about changing the grill before it got too smoky. FOOD: For the meats, everything is top notch. The meats aren't too fatty and the cuts are good. My personal favorite was the beef bulgogi. The only thing that has small portions is the seafood. Specifically, the mussels. If you like mussels, you should start with 2 orders because one order only has 3 mussels in it. The squid actually had pretty decent portions. The only thing my table didn't get a chance to try was the octopus For a price of $32/person for the Korean BBQ, you get a pretty sweet deal. Rice is included in that price!! And you have access to sauces and other sides like kimchi. I will definitely be back here to try the hot pot. Overall, this was a perfect place to ring in my 27th evolution around the Sun.

We all enjoyed hotpot individual soups and made our own bowls with ingredients that each one of us wanted. Great way to enjoy for the family!

Came for Korean BBQ for dinner on a Saturday night around 8 pm and was seated immediately with no wait. I was really impressed with the service we received all night. Our waitress checked in frequently and was so patient with us, and she proactively offered grill changes a few times throughout the night. Our waitress also mentioned we would not be charged for any extra leftover food which surprised me, but it was nice not having to worry about that. I liked the ambiance as well and the place seemed very clean which I appreciated. It was not smokey or difficult to breathe at all. While the menu has all the Korean BBQ basics and many options, I found myself wishing the place were a bit more authentic. The bulgogi was our favorite that we ordered, and while the quality the meat was good, I feel like it could have been thinner with more marinade. There were also few authentic banchan options (only kimchi you had to order off the menu) and the sides bar only had fruit, seaweed salad, and some desserts.Overall, I enjoyed the experience that we had and this would be a great place to introduce someone to KBBQ for the first time, but I hope over time that they upgrade their Korean BBQ menu offerings. The service and ambiance were great though so I hope Back Street keeps that up. It seems like the hot pot had a lot more options and variety, so I will have to come back for that next time!

We recently visited Back Stop BBQ and Hotpot, and it was an excellent experience. With their great reviews, we decided to see for ourselves and were not disappointed. We were immediately seated, and although our server was new, she was friendly and very helpful in guiding us through our choices.Make sure you come with an appetite because the portions are generous, even for just two people. We opted for both the hotpot and BBQ, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The food was served quickly, which was impressive. One of the highlights was the opportunity to create our own sauces from a wide variety of options.The background music added to the enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Back Stop BBQ and Hotpot.
