Excellent selection. Food and service were great. Now let's talk about portion size- you better be hungry. Portions were huge. I highly recommend this place if you're hungry and want something a little different.

Yep - we're hanging out at this street corner for the Racine Party on the Pavement event, right by Asiana.I have never gone there before and we need to give this place a go. On the way to Asiana, it starts playing: The Casper Slide Part 2 - like a magnet, we're pulled in so we can join the crowd of people who have to do what they do when they hear the song playing. If you know, you know; it's pretty much involuntary.Well, after it's over and we're done dancing, we head into Asiana, and there are a few tables open.I appreciate that they told us (even though it's expected) that they're getting slammed and the wait for food may be longer than usual. Not a problem at all.We checked out the menu, and they're really helpful with giving us some suggestions since we'd never been in before. We ordered the Bul go gi, Tommyun, and some drinks and enjoyed our time there. Those wine pours are no joke, and there are smiles from ear to ear.The food was excellent, and the flavors from the spices were popping in our mouths; it was so enjoyable to explore the items on the menu and interact with the staff.Kaylyn was the name on our bill for who took care of us, however.....Huge, HUGE thanks to the entire staff for taking care of us. It was like a rotation of various people who came back and forth to ensure everything was great, and they left no stone unturned. That teamwork they had there when the place was filling up more and more was amazing - it truly was. You couldn't beat the weather for the Racine Party on the Pavement, and the fact that Asiana had their place covered the way they did was beyond impressive. We will be back here for sure - for everyone at Asiana, thanks so much for the great experience, and keep up the great work you're doing over there!

I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago and chose this restaurant because it was a good half-way meeting point for us and our friends from Milwaukee. We were totally blown away by how AMAZING the food and service were here! I have a very serious seafood allergy and am a vegetarian, and two waitresses consulted the chef and the owner to make sure they could recommend several dishes on the menu that would be safe for me. They were the opposite of bothered by this - they were so friendly and so earnestly helpful! I was prepared to find my food ok but nothing special given the restrictions and was surprised again by an absolutely DELICIOUS meal that was so abundant I had leftovers for two days. The other people eating with me, who have no dietary restrictions, all said their food was fantastic. All of us want to go back -- and we will, for sure, make this our regular meeting place. Honestly, I wish I lived closer - I'd absolutely be here weekly. Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I heard a good recommendation about this place from a friend and decided to give it a try. We arrived later in the evening, and the place was busy. They immediately sat us and the sever came over instantly to take our order. Having never eaten Korean food, we asked the server for recommendations. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations did not disappoint. She recommended these volcano rolls that remind me of pot stickers as an appetizer and they are amazing!! My husband tried the spiny pork and I had the chicken fried rice. Both of our meals were the best Asian food we've ever had. We've been back numerous time since, getting take out and bringing friends. Everyone treats you like a regular. The owner is always out mingling and interacting with customers. The only complaint I have is that it took me too long to find this hidden gem!!
