Ordered chicken biryani here. The biryani was average but what disappointed me was there was only 1 medium piece of meat in whole container filled with rice. But it was ridiculous and really disappointing . Spoiled my whole dinner because all i had to eat was rice. Never seen anything like this.I don't know if i want to ordering again to see it was a mistake or one off case.

A great local store with most things that any desi household will need. The location is convenient if you don't want to drive all the way to Schaumburg for a desi store. From halal meat to spices to tea, they've got everything. The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Check them out!

Asian Island is one of the best finds for us in Palatine/Arlington Hts area. They are literally 5 minutes from where we live and despite their small size, they have all the ethnic grocery items that one could want. Additionally they also have onsite halal meat available, which seals the deal for us. We go here at least twice a month to buy meat and to stock up on our ethnic supplies.Recently we tried their biryani and it was pretty good too!

Great store in the neighborhood. A pakistani family runs it where they have groceries, halal produce and also cook / cater. I've been going there since 2 years and they never disappoint. The catering is great too... every time I go there they ask me to taste a new dish they are making and when I buy something for takeaway the quantity is awesome. Highly recommend.

Can't still Bilieve the owner actually gave me a free biryani and a bottle of water, never ever met such a nice guy and that too on my first visit ... I highly recommend this place to all desis.

If u want desi groceries this is the spot even though the place is stuffed to neck. They try to accommodate everything for ones need. The man on the counter is cooperative sometimes offer you free samosa for a purchase

They have an awesome selection of henna compared to most stores. I couldn't name them all if I tried, but my favorite is Jamila, which they carry. As for the food they sell here, I have no idea. You'll have to find out for yourself.

I wish I can give Zero rating ! Wanna know WHY ? I found a NAIL inside my biryani .. I called them back and the guy tells me it's impossible , blamed me back and hung up .. Please if u value your money do not go here .. Also they get their food catered WARNING : they don't know how to cook so that's why it's all microwaved. And they are very unhygienic.

You will feel the authentic Pakistani taste in their poori Sabji and their biryanis are awesome. Very hard to find this place.Sabji was little oily but taste was good.
