If I could give this 0 stars I would. This is your sign: DO NOT GO HERE. The food was atrocious. One bite and you lose your appetite. The prices are also ridiculously high.

Can I write two reviews? On my first visit we came for Chinese but saw everyone with the fish fry so we had to get it. Everything is served family style so you get a huge pile of fish, a bowl of coleslaw and tartar sauce, along with a heaping plate of fries and bread. The huge pieces of fish are nicely battered and fried. I've done the fish a few times now and it's consistently good. For Chinese, we came in over the holidays for dinner buffet. Overall, it was disappointing. They also had prime rib and some other options so the Chinese offerings just seemed lacking. Pricing was a premium for the holiday too. I wouldn't try it again. Between all visits it's more like 3.5 but I'll give extra credit for the fish. Service is always good. They have been very busy on each visit but staff is very attentative. In the summer they've got a patio open which is dog friendly. Yay!

After 41 years of patronage I am removing them from my phone. I have given the new owners too many chances. My last order was beef and broccoli, chicken chow mein and chicken egg foo young. They would be rated C-, C and F as the egg foo young was inedible and was thrown away. It was a good run but when Ellen, the old owner left so did the consistent quality.

Haven't participated in the Chinese food or buffet as of yet, but it comes highly recommended by friends in the area. However, I have tried their fish fry twice and it's a nice fish fry! Both times I had the seafood platter which included at least 4 pieces of cod, 6-8 shrimp, and several scallops. The cod and shrimp are very good. The scallops are a little soggy for my liking and a bit fishy. The fries aren't bad but not great. For $13.95 you get a ton of food! Looking forward to returning to try their Chinese food! And I must say their bar look very fun! Each time we've been there you can hear people having a great time in the bar from the restaurant area. Some people might not like that aspect of it, but I didn't mind. It's the holidays and people were having fun!

OK. Out of courtesy to my co-workers I went here. Number 1, I've been to Asia many times. Number 2, this isn't remotely Asia. It is a respite for the elderly who want a place to hang out. That's cool. There were many at the bar. They all seemed happy. But, the food. Don't. Just don't. So from a restaurant POV, it simply isn't. For a cool bar hang out for people 60+ who don't know what they are eating, it works. The white rice and the bottle of soy sauce did the trick for me. The Chop Suey was made from a thick layer of stuff that glazed the baby corn and mystery veggies so much that I barely tried it before settling on the rice and soy sauce. Zero vegetarian stuff either. But, anyhow. Just thought I'd let you all know.

After seeing the news story on Studio A about the fish fry, we decided to give it a try. We figured they might be extra busy as a result of the tv appearance so we ordered carry-out. My boyfriend picked up the food and he had to wait about 15 minutes longer than he was told over the phone. Other than that, we were both happy with the fish fry. I had the baked cod and baked potato and he had the fried cod with French fries. Sides were solid, except the rye bread was not very good quality. A lot of food for the price! We will come again, maybe next time we will try to dine-in!

I used to like their fish fry but haven't been their for a year or two. The Coleslaw was slightly more than sliced cabbage. Almost no dressing. Th fries were acceptable and the quantities were adequate. The fish is filets not loins. The taste was acceptable at the restaurant, with the bottle of kraft tarter sauce. A really good tarter sauce is so easy to make, I'm not sure why they go with a bottle of kraft on each table. For me the real test of good fried fish is to take it home and put it in the fridge till it's cold and try it. Well cooked fish will taste great. This fish became soggy, bland and picked up an off, almost soapy after taste. It's sad when a once good restaurant has to get ed off the list.

My party of 3 ordered various Chinese entrees. The food was not palatable. The chicken was chewy. Everything was drenched in soy sauce. No ambiance to the establishment either. Server still had us pay in full despite having taken 1 bite each. Never again.

I enjoy taking my friends to Asia Restaurant in New Berlin, WI. for their birthdays. We had the House Specials which was very delicious. We did not leave hungry. One of my friends could not eat all of this meal so the Server put the rest of the meal for my friend to take home. This restaurant gives guests large portions of delicious menu items at a very excellent price. The service is excellent too. I highly recommend this Restaurant. Thanks again for a great experience!Jeff H.Milwaukee, WI
