Great BBQ and lots of it. We usually do drive through. Friendly guy! My dads favorite BBQ. On Southside of town.

I have to first say my mom makes the best ribs I've ever had so I'm a tough sell. But here are my pros and cons...If you order on line straight from the business's website, they thank you for ordering directly through them rather than a third party and what they don't tell you is that you are paying anywhere from $1-$3.50 more per item than if you call them or order on site. We paid $17.44 per rib dinner and found out from their paper menu that the price of their rib dinner is $13.95. Thought we were making it easier on them by ordering on line and wound up paying about $10.00 more than we would have placing our order over the phone or in person. Boo! Bad business! Called to ask why this was? Gal on the phone told us that's the way the owner set it up! Lost my business right there, would be nice if they at least disclosed this information on the website! They were out of our first and second choice of sides, and had to call me to pick something else.Ribs were a decent portion for $13.95 price but not for $17.44 we were charged on line. They were quite meaty, but a little salty and the sauce was nothing special. Smoke was nice on them, they did not fall off the bone as proclaimed, but they did fork off the bone. The "burnt ends" are my absolute favorite part of ribs, these were like burnt to a crisp bitter ends in some spots. Corn on the cob was buttery and fresh.Collard greens had good flavor but the stems were left in and not a bit of bacon or ham in the whole serving. Corn bread was tasty lightly sweet and fresh and moist but each dinner was supposed to get a cornbread muffin and we got one small (2") piece for 3 dinners. My fiancé loved the Mac and Cheese.Peach cobbler was yummy but a pretty small portion for the price.Sweet potato pie was average on what tasted like a store bought crust. Small portion for price also. They did have a very good band playing outside under a large tent that offered a pleasant, shaded place to enjoy your food which was a nice touch for pandemic times.Food was hot and ready at the time it was supposed to be ready for pick up.Honestly wanted to go back again to try the pulled pork and brisket another time but the whole price gouging thing on the website completely turned us off, and when we found out it was intentional by the owner that really was the deal breaker.

Horrible BBQ. People who are leaving 4 and 5 star reviews of this place don't have a clue about what real good BBQ is. The pulled pork tastes more like a sloppy joe, or I guess a better example would be the type of BBQ pulled pork people make in a crock pot. Yuck!

I'm a fan of BBQ so when I smelled the sweet smoke aroma in the air the other day I knew right away there was new BBQ in the area! Went to Art's early afternoon on a Thursday to give it a try.....They did not disappoint at all!!!Everyone was very friendly and the BBQ Brisket was delicious. Tender, Juicy, great flavor... a trifecta of delight! Greens were some of the best I've had and the cornbread also top notch. The whole dinner just took my mind to great summer BBQ's with family and friends, and put a huge smile on my face!Art's does it right!! I cannot wait to go back for more brisket, and to try the Pulled Pork, the Beef Tenderloin (especially the tenderloin) and a few other sides!! Three Meat combo plate?!?!?

Been to Art's three time since they opened. Wish we lived closer! We've tried the brisket and pulled pork...both were juicy and delicious! We also purchased pulled pork by the pound for a family gathering that we served on small rolls. Everyone raved about them. Highly recommend. Oh, one other thing...the owner, who I presume is Art, and the other employees are super nice and friendly!!

Art has absolutely great BBQ... Brisket was as tender as I've ever had it. Pulled pork was fantastic. Ribs just fall off the bone. BBQ sauce was sweet & tangy... and the sweet potato pie hit the spot at the end. We'll definitely be back when we're in town!

I don't even want to give this one star. The menu said seasoned green beans, and I received 6 tablespoons of beans from a can. Zero seasoning whatsoever. The corn was the same deal -- a tiny amount straight from the can. The baked beans also from a can and had nothing added to them like most BBQ restaurants serve. The BBQ was okay, but definitely an overpriced meal for what you got. I am disappointed in the food, and when I spoke with the restaurant to share my concern, I was disappointed in the customer service as well. What a bummer of a meal.

Had their perch fry tonight. Fish & fries were still crispy & hot after a 10 min. drive home. Nice serving of creamy cole slaw. A little pricier than I like but it was close to home, drive-thru, and I feel good knowing I'm helping a small local, minority business.
