Second time here. Both experiences were good. Would definitely come back.There were two of us, had 6:30 reservations on a Wednesday night. Got seated right away. The place was buzzing and there was a full house. We were seated along the front windows. The smaller tables are a little closer than I would pick, but our fellow diners had quiet conversations. There was also a musician playing near the door, but not too loud or distracting.Our servers did a great job the entire evening with getting us drinks, food, and any else we needed. Thanks Mallory and Sofie for being personable and fun!Got a couple of the Brown Mumblers, which are basically an Old Fashioned with a brown sugar cube and sweet soda. Which is very good!We had the Bang Bang Shrimp of an Appetizer, Tortellini and Short Rib for our Entrees. Everything came out hot, flavorful and good portions. The Shrimp was cooked perfectly, nice and firm and flavorful. The Short Rib was tender and loved the addition of the Leek Bone Marrow Butter (seeing lots of Bone Marrow Butter in other restaurants).The musician that they had play an excellent collection of classic rock, but in a more quiet, subtle style. Excellent choice for the evening.Another nice evening. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great lunch restaurant option on Pewaukee Lake. Highly recommend the shaved brussel sprouts salad. Be sure to add the blackened chicken. Enjoy!

The food was really well done, and it's hard to beat the view out onto Pewaukee lake! Our service was spotty with a few things taking far longer than they should've (drinks, bread, apps). Server was very personable, and made up for a lot with a surprise birthday desert for my wife (even though we really wanted some angel food cake inside that mug! The short rib was tender and delicious, so was the snapper, and the cauliflower bits can with a tangy and spicy sauce that was delicious. The price tag and the lack of really excellent service made this meal a little underwhelming, and it's the second time that it's been that way. We will probably be back, but we won't rush back.

Beautiful location and setting. Food was good, timing was awkward when mains came only 10 min after our charcuterie. Server prompt otherwise.My dish had a super long hair on top when server brought it out. I removed it because it likely came from her and just moved along but if it ever happens again I'd likely say something at that point. Might be wise to have servers still tie long hair back.Husband's steak was fantastic, my short ribs were good but grits didn't have as much flavor as I had hoped, broccolini cooked perfectly.Prosecco and wine with the meal were great and my dessert martini delish! Husband's dessert was also great.

Several more visits since last review, and still great experiences. Tonight, a friend and I shared the Waygu Meatballs with Burrata and Caramelized Brussels sprouts as starters. The meatballs were a perfectly firm texture with the right amount of seasoning. The Brussels sprouts were as great as they look in the photo!My friend ordered the Ricotta Gnocchi, and I ordered the Bucatini Bolognese. The pasta and gnocchi are made in house. I had a couple pieces of her gnudi (gnocchi made from ricotta) and found them to bee too dense, but the sauce they were served in was delicious! My bucatini was a perfect texture, and the bolognese sauce tasted great! It's made with wagyu beef and Berkshire pork, so I wish the sauce had a lot less cream, so the meat could stand out in a thinner tomato sauce. Again, great flavor!For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Sachet, filled with white chocolate mousse and raspberry puree, and it was mind blowingly decadent! The Limoncello Chambord Mousse with sugar cookie was also decadent, but the Chocolate Sachet was our favorite!We each ordered a cocktail. I had the Blood Orange Manhattan, and it was one of the best cocktails I've ever had! Their cocktail program is pretty strong! I've enjoyed many over the years from them.Our service from Emily and Mary was on point! They were both fun and personable. The view of the lake across the street, as we dined on the patio, added to the great experience!They've been here for 10 years and still going strong! Check them out!

Outstanding meal, creative and tasty food and drinks. Fun environment, great service.

Great atmosphere inside and out. Fabulous selection of booze and beer. Menu gives you a chance to try something different. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The owner has great stories and is always willing to please everyone. Music is a great plus. You will enjoy Artisan 179 no doubt

Delicious corn and crab soup. Tasty Wagu meatball sandwich with truffle fries. Beautiful view of Pewaukee Lake. Professional, friendly staff ready to take good care of you. Peaceful, warm, artistic decor to guarantee an experience you will look forward to come back to.

Food, Service, and environment were lights out good! We especially appreciated the extremely tasteful bourbon selection.
