Aria at the Saint Kate was my final stop during my quick 24 hour trip to Milwaukee. My friend and I decided to grab breakfast before parting ways, and Aria was just a few floors down. The space is stunning -- super bright, airy, and welcoming! We were quickly seated and met with our sweet server who was fantastic. We ordered lattes, overnight oats, and a breakfast sandwich to share. The latte was on the sweeter side, so I definitely remember ordering half-sweet if you visit. Both the oats and sandwich were super tasty and filling though! The oats were served with strawberry compote, almond butter, strawberries, and bananas, giving it a lot of flavor. Would definitely recommend Aria, it was a treat!

Had such an enjoyable breakfast at Aria! I've heard so many great things about this restaurant and somehow have only just visited for the first time. My friend and I stayed the night at Saint Kate hotel and wandered down the second floor in the morning to grab a bite to eat. What a wonderful atmosphere. So well decorated, very calming, and very aesthetic. We were sat at a small two-top and quickly greeted by a friendly waitress. We both had a vanilla latte, which I'll admit ended up being a tad too sweet for my liking, but I drank it nonetheless. As for food, we split the breakfast sandwich and overnight oats. Both delicious! The sammie had thick cut bacon and came with a side of tasty potatoes. The oats were plentiful and has much flavor. Plus mixed in berries and bananas. Overall a wonderful little breakfast. I'd definitely return and try their other menu items, including dinner and cocktails!

Stayed at Saint Kate for NYE and decided to eat dinner at the hotel. I've been to Aria a few times in the past and had both hit and miss experiences. The restaurant was not super busy and had plenty of staff, but it did take about 25 minutes for a server to come to our table. He apologized and said he would make the situation right and he really did! We ended up receiving a free appetizer and 4 free drinks. The ambiance was pretty, vibe was calming, and we enjoyed our food. We started with the crab/caviar deviled eggs. They had a unique flavor and were a fun way to start the meal! Then we each ordered a Caesar salad. The salads were large and very fresh. I had the sea bass for my main dish and my husband had the steak. I loved the sauce the fish was in, so flavorful! Side of mashed potatoes were just ok for me. I would definitely return for dinner before a play or for breakfast.

4.5. Great ambiance, hyper-friendly service, and the kitchen has talent. A worthy extension of a lovely and interesting hotel. The apps and the desert were awesome and the mains competently done. The bartender's palate didn't agree with mine, but that's ok. Not a budget option; hotel restaurant prices in effect.

It's a lovely spot. We had a prime two-top near the window and it felt really intimate. It has an eclectic interior, very artsy. The service was impeccable. The food was incredibly good. I was a little concerned at first because nothing really jumped out at me, but I was foolish. The flavors are amazing. I had the Cassoulet and added the duck confit. The sunchokes were sweet and tender, the white bean ragout was very flavorful, I couldn't taste the fennel which for me, is a good thing. The duck was spectacular. My husband had the filet of beef. It was cooked perfectly, tender, seasoned well, and the mashed potatoes were heaven. We also had the Clams Casino which had me worried because they put it in scare quotes so I'm still not sure if there were actually clams in it the dish or not. If not, they did a masterful job of simulating clams. The goat cheese with tomato jam is a must try.The night we went there was a big even on the first floor, but you'd never know it because the second floor was very quiet; however, I could see on a really busy night it might be quite loud for dining. It is pricey but the portions are solid and again, the flavors are amazing.

We went here because a lot of restaurants were booked for Father's day. We called ahead to see if we needed reservations and was told, not really needed, but we requested anyway. This restaurant is on the second floor and we opted to take the stairs to enjoy the atmosphere and artwork. When we walked into the restaurant, the atmosphere blended straight in. Which is a good thing here. This place was totally not busy at all and was really a great place to unwind and have some great food and drinks. Our server was great and very attentive and friendly. Explained the specials and that is where I learned about the Fathers day special with aged NY strip and the trimmings and that accompanied a flight of bourbons. My daughter had the salmon and my wife had the filet mignon. My daughter got a great cocktail and the cosmo was perfect. All the food was great and we of course tried some of the desserts. The strawberry Fields is a dessert that a person that likes strong cheese. But the chocolate dessert was well done. It was a pleasant experience and was a fine dining venue for sure but the service matches the food here. For downtown Milwaukee, it was a definite recommend if you want to challenge your taste buds!

I tried Aria for downtown dining week with a friend. It was a cute place on the second floor of St Kate. It wasn't busy at all on a Monday around 5 and service was good. For food we got three courses. The chicken and dumpling soup was good, for the entree I got the chicken dinner. I found the sides the best part as I really enjoyed the potatoes and green beans that came with it. The chicken was fine but nothing special. The last course was a blueberry upside down cake which was also fine but nothing to write home about. This isn't a bad place to go if you're in the area.

Came here recently with a friend and so enjoyed the experience!Located on the 2nd floor of the Saint Kate, Aria is a beautiful spot serving up artisanal American cuisine. We arrived on a Monday evening to find that the restaurant was nearly empty. Because they were slow, they asked if we'd like to sit in Giggly, the bar adjacent to Aria. We were still able to order from Aria's menu and we were able sit in comfy chairs with a lovely city view to boot. We opted for drinks to start. They have a decent wine list and my dining companion opted for a glass of pinot noir from the list. I'm more of a cocktail gal and so went for their Odums cocktails which was reminiscent of a boulevardier (minus sweet vermouth, plus amaro). It was exquisite. For dinner, we decided to get a myriad of starters rather than an entree. We shared the deviled eggs (a-ok), the mussels giardiniera (also, ok), the caramelized brussels sprouts (coated in walnut red pepper sauce and goat cheese honey mousse and out-of-this-freaking-world!), and the baked goat cheese (served with tomato jam and grilled bread and also an absolute delight). For dessert, we ordered their dessert flight, which afforded us a taste of everything. Their dark chocolate cremeux (maple fudge, sea salt, and pistachio ice cream) was decidedly our favorite. Second for me was some sort of dark chocolate tart (rich and chocolatey). The swing and a miss came in the form of the bacon & root beer pots de creme. Our server described it as sweet and savory (which it was). The service was solid, the prices are about what you'd expect to pay downtown (which is to say a little higher than elsewhere). That said they do have a later evening happy hour we were able to take advantage of which gave us a couple dollars off our drinks (hurray for happy hour!).All in all, a delightful first experience at Aria!

We had a great time at Saint Kate's Aria restaurant! The ambiance was awesome, they had a live pianist there playing some beautiful songs. It's also in the perfect spot if you're going to a show or concert with all the venues down there! They start you off with bread and crackers and a delicious honey butter and cheddar cranberry spread. I ordered a cassatt (essentially a delicious espresso martini) that I would go back just for that! For the main meal, I got sweet potato pierogi. They were good, the caramelized mushrooms were my favorite part. I do wish they had more sauce or something on them, but they were scrumptious.Being a vegetarian, that was really my only option for a main dish, I would love to see more added.

Was visiting Milwaukee on a work trip and decided on this restaurant because it was close to my hotel and had solid reviews. While I was the only one in the restaurant, the host sat me in the corner, next to the wheel chair ramp. She seemed inexperienced and a tad rude. I ordered a dirty martini, deviled eggs and the U10 scallops because they had a solid mix of scallops, gnocchi, black trumpet mushrooms and other ingredients. The U10 was a mess! Over sauced, no trace of black trumpet muschrooms and one piece of gnocchi. I shared my feedback w the server and she said, thanks for the feedback. This was her first night on the floor. I suggest trying another great restaurant in town, even if you are staying at the hotel.
