Archie's Flat Top

The Archie double was amazing! Also had some great ice cream, and a fruit punch sour beer. All a 10/10

This past Sunday me and two of my friends decided to give Archie's a try. We heard nothing but good things about them and I like good burger even though I don't need much on it to enjoy it. I checked out their menu before hand and it's small, but sometimes you don't need to have a lot on a menu to serve great food.My friend with just fries because I just learned she's not really a burger person. Now you may think how is she your friend and not know this? Me and her bf been friends about 5 months or so I am learning as I go lol. She just went with an order of fries and I went with the #2 minus the onion with a Coors Banquet and her bf went with all the toppings. A lot of $3 beers and if you sell Banquet at this price, you're okay by me. While waiting for our food I noticed that they had Malort so I asked the employee for 2 shots. Yes, I am one of those weirdos who likes the must hated booze known to man kind but got my friend Ty on the Malort train and he likes it as well. It's the aftertaste to us anyways that reminds us of grapefruits and we both enjoy the fruit. We were introduced to fernet that we never heard of it tried, but I would say it's not too bad. Food finally arrives and just the shear smell of the fresh burger has me ready to dig in. I finished my burger, but it was messy and I was full! Nice crispy edges, cheese melted just right on it and the side of pickles nice and crisp. Fries were hot and crispy as a good fry should be.Overall for the price and experience, it was well worth every cent and will be back again. Only this time I would go with one patty, but knowing me I would go with 2 patties again.

What a cute place!The restaurant has a fun diner vibe and is connected to an ice cream shop. You can sit in either location which opens up additional seating, especially for larger groups. The restaurant is order at the bar and seat yourself style. All the staff we interacted with were great. The smash burgers were giant and perfectly done. Definitely a messy meal but totally worth it. The menu is small and simple but that is part of the experience. The fries are good too- I usually don't finish fries at restaurants but these were so good I took what was left home and reheated them in the air fryer later. Such a fun dinner spot in West Allis!

It had been a few years since we had been to Archie's Flat Top,but had a gift card, so stopped for lunch on a Sunday afternoon.The place was hopping. No problem, we sat at the bar and were quickly greeted.Not a huge menu,but a nice and simple variety. All their meat comes from the Butcher Shop they own cause by,so it's really fresh.They have e really nice beer selection and specialty drinks too.These are smash burgers with nice and crispy edges and cooked perfectly. You can add additional toppings to customize it to your taste. We also had an order of fries and onion rings, both excellent. So to sum it up,Archie's has kept the quality I remember and has sacrificed nothing. Their prices are very reasonable,especially for the quality. This will be a go to burger joint for us,we will definitely be back again much sooner. You should definitely put them on your list to check out.

Yum! If you're a fan of smash burgers, this place is a must try. The service is quick and efficient-order at the bar, and your food gets brought out to you, making it perfect for a quick bite. The prices are reasonable too. The retro vibe here is really fun, especially with the black-and-white checkered floors, my all time favorite flooring. The smash burgers themselves have great texture, I recommend adding the Archie sauce. I will say the edges of the burger were a little too smashed and crispy for me because it came out crumbly and a bit toasty but nothing the Archie sauce can't fix. The onion rings were fine but didn't quite wow me. Next time, I'll be swapping them for fries to see how those compare. A nice bonus is that the dining space is shared with Scratch ice cream spot, so you can grab dessert right after your meal. I'm excited to come back and support this kind of fun, casual dining. It's exactly the kind of place I'd love to see more of.

Decided to stop at Archie's flat top for an amazing burger, cause we've heard so many great things about them through reviews! We were not disappointed at all! My husband and I decided to split a burger because it was so huge! The service was amazing. And the ambience was pretty cool as well. Definitely check it out.!!

Wow! Yum! What an amazing smash burger. Loved that the burger was juicy without being greasy and messy. The food came out quick and it was overall a very tasty meal.

Archie's is a classic style (think 50's black and white checked floor, red stools, etc) burger diner and bar. It's as cute as a button and squeaky clean. They have a menu of burgers, fries, onion rings and the like. My dining companion and I were happy to see they had a black bean and corn veggie burger on menu. Now, black bean burgers are typically my least favorite sort of veggie burger. But, not so at Archie's! Their black bean burger is made smashed burger style and is seriously wonderful. You will not miss a thing with this burger. It was one of the best, if not the best, black bean burger I have ever had.Their fries are crinkle cut and unseasoned. They were a solid aok. Their onion rings are huge and delicious. They have menus at the tables but it's an order at the bar/counter situation, they'll give you a number, and they'll bring your food to your table.So excited to have found this gem of a spot in West Allis which is conveniently adjoined with Scratch ice cream so you can enjoy some ice cream after!Get to it!

Rate Archie's as 1 ofmy top 3 burgers fromanywhere! Loved the onion rings. Crinkle Cut fries were spot on. Order at the counter & grab a seat. We had an Archie (loaded, 2 patties) and a #2- a double. The PBR onions were tasty as was the special sauce. Can't forget the pickles- FANTASTIC!
