Try the l beef arepa with garlic sauce and plantain side, it's so good! The chicken empanada was really tasty too with the green sauce. Freshen up with a passion fruit juice beverage. I love that they use paper straws for sustainability. This place is located inside the 3rd street food hall, super easy to find with their well lit neon signs. Fast and easy check out. The lady at the counter was helpful when I asked what for advise on what food and sides I should get!

So happy this authentic Venezuelan food experience has a place in 3rd Street Market Hall. Not only are the owners so sweet, their food is delish.I've had their arepas from the Zocalo location, but this was my first time to this spot. Service was friendly and speedy. I took home a few items... a chicken empanada, fried plantains, and a beef arepa with feta cheese. Hands down the arepa was my fave. So packed - with food and flavor - and clearly freshly made. I love the arepa flat bread. It has such a unique texture. The empanada was also tasty. A little bready for me in that it's a thick pastry, but good nonetheless. Fried plantains were plentiful and came with a nice sauce. Speaking of sauce, honestly all of them were amazing. Especially the green (avocado?) sauce for the arepa. Definitely give them a try on your next food hall visit!

This was my first visit to the 3rd St Market Hall. It was on a Sunday and it was packed. We found parking a block away and walked over. The place was churning with people, I had to weave in and out of folks while walking around, and there were a lot of families with young children. After walking around, I decided to try the Arepas. I was in line, and when I got to the cashier I was told by the folks ahead of me that we had to place an order online in order to get our food here. Well, the woman ahead of me in line was frustrated by that and left. I decided to go ahead and order. The two customers in front of were having trouble ordering but somehow I made it through. Here's a hint if it happens to you: you have to "open a tab" when you order online. Once you "open a tab", that puts your order through. You'll get a reminder later to pay your bill. I asked them what was the reason for the online order only, and they said they were training some staff. Once you place your online order, then you wait. Just move to the window on the opposite side of the cashier where you pick up your food. The one staff person that I interacted with was friendly (just one woman who was cooking in the front, though I saw others in the back cooking).I ordered the chicken arepas, which are also topped with black beans and sweet potatoes, and I opted for monterey jack cheese and the spicy sauce. The arepas are stuffed with these ingredients. Once I got my food, I sat down across from Dairyland where there were tables and chairs. If you're really hungry, one of these might not be enough. I was ok with one at that time. It was hot and pretty good, but it's on the pricier side, and not enough for a full meal. It's good, but you'll need to supplement if you're counting on this for a full lunch or dinner.3rd Street Market Hall, I'll be back to try more!

Yummy! We bought several flavors to try and enjoyed all of them. Service was great; the employee was super helpful while we were making decisions. It looked very clean and organized. We will be back!

SaucyI've been going to the Zocalo location since they opened but the new breakfast arepas are going to keep me coming back to the Market Hall. Chicken arepas as my go-to for a quick togo lunch but the breakfast version with egg and bacon is simply amazing. The hours for breakfast are a little limiting, but perhaps service is quicker during this time with less traffic. I'm all for their sauces - the garlic sauce is amazing. Staff is always super friendly but the wait can be long during lunch or dinner hours due to the fact that the arepas are all made to order.

This place was very tasty. I live in Michigan and although we have empanadas, I don't see arepas that much, so I was excited to try it out.I got the beef arepa with garlic sauce, sweet plantains, and feta cheese. It was pretty tasty and if you're looking for something gluten-free, all of their stuff is, which is cool. I was super hungry so I also got a chicken empanada, with garlic sauce. I enjoyed both of these but the arepa was my favorite. The empanada came with shredded chicken and a garlic dipping sauce although you have your choice of dipping sauce. The only thing I can criticize here is the price, one empanada was $7 although rather large, and an arepa was around $13 or $14 I think. I was surprised at the reviewer on here who said the arepa was more like a snack though - It was rather huge and definitely enough for a meal, IMO.This place is part of the 3rd Street Food Hall which is also a very cool venue.

I'd say this is one of your better bets in third Street market. Good flavor, good portions, lots of choices to customize. Only thing they could've improved is if the arepa had been a little less toasted so everything was a little softer. Tough arepa means everything squirts out the side, means you're eating your sandwich with a spork.

So good but so pricey! Our meal was about $50 with mini empanadas and two arepas. The arepas are huge and filling though - we got the chicken and the beef ones and they were both great. We enjoyed the garlic sauce as well. I would definitely come back but just as a treat.

This was a nice surprise and really enjoyable. I had never had Venezuelan food before. But when I saw the gluten free sign, I knew I had to try it. I got a veggie arepa that was GF, vegan and dairy free -- and delicious! It was a warm soft bread with black beans, fried ripe plantains wrapped inside. Wish I had another opportunity to get another one but maybe next time in Milwaukee I will get another or two or three ...

We are visiting MKE and stopped in what is apparently a very new 3rd Street Market Food Hall and found Anytime Arepas. I'm a sucker for a good arepa and my daughter saw the chicken salad w/ avocado one so that sealed the deal. The staff was very nice. It's a food hall so it's counter service. The arepas were absolutely delicious! This was my daughters first arepa and she loved it. They are a good size and really stuffed so it makes the price easier to swallow. $12 and $13 for arepas sounded pricey but they do give you a lot for the money. My beef arepa was exactly what I expected. The arepas were crispy on the outside but still soft and buttery on the inside. It's my first time in MKE so I'm not sure how common arepas and Venezuelan food is here; but I hope they do well! I'm spoiled in Orlando with tons of different Latin foods so I'm used to it but I wish them lots of success here. This market/arcade/food hall is awesome so they should have lots of business.
