Great little shop in the heart of 'Tosa. Anodyne (def: soothing to the mind or feelings) goodness. Spartan, elegant storefront with utilitarian seating. Friendly service, excellent selection of coffee beans from Anodyne roastery. Beautifully crafted drinks by skilled baristas.

I quick stopped in the other afternoon for a "pick-me-up" and have been dying to try an espresso tonic. The person working the register said they recommended the flavor of the month, orange dreamsicle, so I gave it a try. It took a few sips to understand what was happening in my mouth but I became obsessed the more sips I took. The bubbles from the tonic made it incredibly refreshing and it really tasted like a dreamsicle (with a hint of espresso)! There was no line so service was extremely fast and the place was nice and clean inside.

Absolutely LOVE this spot! Highly recommend the honey bee or the bee sting lattes (I prefer the honey bee but both are amazing). Recently moved to Wauwatosa and have become a frequent at this anodyne location. My puppy loves it too (pup cups are a hit)! Definitely check out the outdoor patio too- very cute.

What a gem of a spot!If you're not familiar with Anodyne coffee--it's wonderful. Their espresso is rich and clean with just the right amount of kick.This location is adorable. The folks that work here are absolutely lovely in every way. The space inside is impeccably clean and comfortable.However, the star of the show?Their patio out back. You'll find yourself surrounded by lush green as you sip one of their delectable beverages and maybe enjoy one of their baked goodies (a blueberry muffin, perhaps?).They also have a few tables out front if watching the hustle and bustle on Harwood is more your jam. Great coffee, lovely service, charming patio--what's not to love?Get to it!

First time here this morning! It was so peaceful and cozy! It was so clean and welcoming I got a hot caramel latte and a cinnamon roll! The barista was so friendly and made great recommendations I grabbed my coffee, cinnamon roll and Kindle and sat down to read my book and have a relaxing morning.

My new fave place to do work when the weather is nice. The patio is peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of shade cover on a sunny day and lots of tables. Love that the patio is also dog friendly! I take my pup here all the time. Of course, the coffee is great too. The iced honeybee latte is usually my go to, but I'm also a huge fan of their rotating seasonal menu. They also sell local coffee beans for purchase. Lovely cafe with a gorgeous patio!! Def recommend

I love Anodyne!I've been to the other 2 locations, but this was the first time at the Tosa location. Coffee is great as always. I had the iced americano since we were sitting outside on a humid/hot day, but hubby likes his hot coffee on a mug. they have outside sitting both in the front and the back - the back is super cute. It seems to butt into the neighbor's backyard, without a fence or anything... we saw a simple grill hanging around the neighbor's side and thought it might be a little awkward for him to grill when there are customers in the cafe patio. Coincidentally, on the other side of that house is the back patio of a new restaurant (which I don't think is open yet - "Draft & Vessel). Maybe it's not a residence after all... I don't know. Anyway, the back patio is quaint and cute. There are stairs leading to a parking lot off in the back. Everything was very green and lush in May 2022. Great coffee, great atmosphere, oh, and the staff were super nice too. What more can you ask for?

(From September 2021)In the heart of Wauwatosa, it's a friendly neighborhood joint serving coffee and the like to its citizens. There's a decent amount of seating inside and an outside patio area. I found myself parked here Sunday morning watching some stuff on my tablet and sipping my latte. Their coffee drinks are tasty with the right consistency and their staff is friendly.I recommend early morning if you want to find a good seat here. Not much crowds during my time here but it gets packed quick from what I heard.

I visited this coffee shop while in town for Summerfest, and I absolutely loved it. I wish I was a local because I would definitely be a regular here! The store isn't very big but still has a lot of good seating options, including some tables out front and a bigger outdoor area behind the store. The person who served us gave us advice on what to order since we were new. Kind service, good coffee, and a neat vibe!
