Very good burgers and nice people! Under new ownership, the staff was very nice. Limited hours for breakfast and lunch. But they do have a Friday fish fry I'm told is also very good And great prices.

Lumber. Jack. Breakfast. You can thank me later. It is life changing. This was where we went the day after moving in. I'm pretty sure it saved my life. We stop here regularly. I love this place. You can't really go wrong with anything on their menu. This is the kind of food that feeds your soul. The wait staff calls you honey. It just makes you feel like you're eating breakfast at grandmas house. You never leave her unsatisfied or hungry.

Yes this is an old fashioned diner. The food is great diner food at a great price. The service is friendly efficient and quick. It is in cute Lake Mills, such a quaint Main Street. We ordered the chicken bacon wrap and cinnamon French toast combo. Great portion size and tasty food. The French toast was good, cinnamon bread is thinly sliced and eggy. We had two eggs with creamy and crunchy hash browns with ham, sausage and two slices of bacon. We will return!

Cute little old fashioned cafe with a classic menu. Food was delicious and affordable, and everyone was very friendly. It was the perfect place to stop and eat while wandering through the little shops in Lake Mills.

First off to the reviews saying the place was old. Get over it or go to somewhere that meets your hipster standards. When something is done right there is no need to change it. The majority of the people that come here love the way it is and will continue to pack this place for its great food and outstanding hardworking staff. The food is great came here hungry and left full. I have order the 2 and 4 cinnamon French toast breakfast and do not think I can stray away from this it's just too good. The wife ordered the corn beef hash and she got exactly what she was looking for! Good ole fashion filling breakfast that is cheap! The girls working are outstanding servers and haven't had a bad experience yet. Continue to do exactly what you are doing!

Traditional cafe style breakfast. Done well, but nothing "special" to set it apart from any other cafe. Would go back if I was in the area looking for a cafe style breakfast - but would not go out of my way to eat here. Not that it's bad, mind you.

A very positive experience! Our server was so friendly, helpful, and efficient!I ate there with 2 friends... My tuna melt was excellent! One friend commented that the coffee was better than average diner joe... the other friend said the potato soup was very tasty! Small but classic diner...I would go back!(Visiting from Milwaukee area)

Place was great but closing at 2 pm is ridiculous for a small town restaurant. really only one other sit down good food place downtown and they are stealing all your business. Used to have a nice fish fry on Friday nights but gone. Guess the SLIDER burgers out front edged them out of operation after 2 pm. What a shame.
