Yowza chic chocolate delectables in abundance! The sweet confectionery smells intriguing enough to made me buy more than intended. Chocolate arts at its finest. Can't wait to go back and try other creations!

If we could give Allo Chocolat more than five stars we would. Excellent and attentive customer service. They went above and beyond in all aspects of our interaction with them. Kind. Personal. Personable. Accommodating. Eager to meet your needs. Just plain nice people. With a delicious product.Highly recommended.Will use them again.

I'm so pleased to have this outstanding store in my hometown. Once in awhile I get nostalgic for candies from my childhood and this store is the answer to my desires. From candy spaceships to candy buttons to juice filled wax bottles, Boston Baked Beans and the list goes on and on. If you have a chocolate sweet tooth you'll walk in and never leave. To top it off crunchy delicious taffy apples sit in an eye high display case that is irresistible. Try it you'll like it.

I like this little candy shop! It's really easy to find on the Main Street of downtown Waukesha. Within its doors you won't find a huge store, but the space hey do have its wall to wall delights. There's so many chocolates to choose from that are hand made at the store, and a fun selection of the old candy from my bygone childhood era as well as my moms. Neck wafers? You got it. Pop rocks? Heck yeah! Candy cigarettes? Probably the only store I've seen them at since 1985.I like that you can choose individual pieces from the counter or pre-packaged chocolates for sharing- if you choose to do so :) Additionally they offer seasonal sweets, so if you like a particular candy, stock up before its gone.The employees here are super sweet, just like their wares. When I was looking for popcorn balls, I thought I was out of luck. But they called around to two unaffiliated sweet shops and found someone who sold them at Christmas. Talk about going above and beyond expectations! If you are ever in the area, stop in and indulge a little. It might be your new favorite hidden gem.

I was excited to find sugar free chocolate at a local shop, I bought a pound of mixed chocolates for Valentine's Day. I was so disappointed when we tried the candy, every piece was brittle and stale! The marshmallow caramel cream pieces we actually as hard as a rock. At $20 a pound, I would expect that the stock would be fresh.

Wonderful chocolate/candy shop! SO MANY TRUFFLES!!! Try the cayenne pepper one. It's really good!

I am a big fan of this place. Large selection, wonderful staff, and unique products. My fiancée and I bought one of damn near every truffle when we were there last, so far every one has been perfect. Dark chocolate and raspberry, Champagne, Bavarian creme, every combination you can think of. They even have little truffles shaped like pigs, cows, dogs, etc. This place is now our go to for chocolates, we will be back soon and often.

If you look at the store front photo I added you'll notice that the windows display what kind of tasty treats are hidden inside. I happened to glace across the street and see the magic word "truffles". That's really all it took!Allo is located on main street and is limited to downtown Waukesha street parking. If you have never been here it's entirely hit or miss. Since it's not as dense as Milwaukee you may find yourself in luck. Though it does get rather busy around here on the weekends. The best bet is park anywhere on Main St and check out all the little shops they have. On to the chocolate shop!Inside you will find a wide variety of treats. Candy bars, chocolate espresso beans.. pretty much everything chocolate you can think of. While i was interested in all the little treats I was there for one main reason. So upon entering go straight and veer slightly to the left to the glass display case filled with a wide variety of chocolate truffles. I checked the website but it didn't have a comprehensive list. that's unfortunate. There must be 1-2 dozen varieties. Irish cream, Cocoa Dusted, something that was Brewers Colors and touted some sort of beer filling? There were too many really. There is seriously something for everyone. I am not just saying that either. They cover all the bases.They have minis that run $.99 and larger size chunks of goodness that run $2.50. There are variety boxes that come in 4 packs a dozen and 2 dozen. Honestly though the prices are getting up there for some chocolates. Just me? But hey for $2.50 I'll stuff chocolate in my mouth.The other part of this review is the customer service. While the girl at the register was quite friendly to all the customers there wasn't entirely a good system of ordering in place. I didn't go straight to the register to order as other people who skipped us did. This is really only 3 or 4 feet to the left but we went unassisted while people off the street walked in to be helped before us. That will cost a star. Luckily I am good with non verbal communication and the young lady asked for assistance from the back (Not that it was busy). Oh well. A minor hiccup in an otherwise good experiencePeople with a sweet tooth should love this place. They have a wide variety of your standard chocolates that you may find in your local candy shop but they really shine with the truffles. Pop on in!

The chocolates are very good.The chocolates are made fresh. There are many nostalgic candies in the store.The staff is cordial and helpful.

This is one of those times where one learns something. We had an unsatisfactory experience right before Easter and I posted a negative review even though we have purchased their fine chocolates for years, and prior to this one time, had always been completely satisfied. If you read that review, you will see their response. I took them up on their offer and called them. They offered to replace our purchase and we agreed. The sugar free chocolates they gave us were absolutely delicious and certainly of the quality we have come to expect from them. Thank you Tawnya, for making the offer. What I learned is that their products are still excellent, and customer service is at the forefront of what they do. Well done Allo Chocolat!!
