Amazing experience and service! Our drinks were delicious. I ordered hibachi new york strip steak and my husband ordered several sushi rolls including King Kong roll.Everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back.

We had an amazing birthday dinner for my 12 year old son at Aki last night. Everything from the employees to the dinner were top notch. I feel they really went out of their way to make it a special night. My kids got the hibachi but my wife and I dined on their delish sashimi and snow princess rolls. We can't wait to go back.

Went back tonight. Didn't feel like sitting at a hibachi table since I was by myself. They were accommodating and sat me at a regular table. 10/10.

What a pleasant experience! We were looking for something different for my son's 17th birthday, and he wanted to try a hibachi place. Here's my selfish concern: I'm on day 12 of Whole30, which is a very strict "cleansing/detox" food program with many restrictions. I mentioned this when I called and they said they could accommodate me. The chef prepared an amazing meal of shrimp, chicken, and extra vegetables, no rice for me, all without soy sauce, butter, and completely compliant! The chef's performance was fun and entertaining, even to my three teens who stayed off their phones the whole meal! The music was interesting...70's easy rock, which we all didn't expect but rather enjoyed. My son's steak was delicious and tender, as were all the other dishes, sushi was beautiful and yummy, the portions were generous and we all had leftovers. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend! I very much appreciated their attention to my dietary needs.

Wish I could one of my typical in-depth reviews, but we just stopped by to put in a to-go order.The staff was considerate and patient and we placed our order for a few rolls quickly.It was mid-afternoon, so the sushi came out quickly. We ate in the car, so I can't comment on the restaurant vibe.What I will say is that the rolls were excellent, unique, and above average.That's why I'll stick with 4 stars until I can experience again.

We've eaten here a few times and enjoyed our meals. We ordered takeout and were charged, but when my husband went to pick up the order, they were closed on a night they were supposed to be open.

The food was absolutely delicious! Do not eat for the entire day because you definitely get your money's worth. Haven't eaten here since it was Yuri so the fact they added noodles to the ambiance of your dish was a pleasant surprise. Can't wait to go back again!!!

They have great food here and both the owner and the staff are funny and amazingly friendly.

We were here for a loooong time. We waited when we got there for more people for them to put us at a table, and then waited at the table for a chef to be done. That being said, the food was good, and the chef tried to keep the guests attention while cooking. Flavor and price was comparable to other hibachi places. Scallops were bigger than most places, and the shrimp were really good. They had noodles in addition to the rice, but I kind of wished it was just rice. The ginger sauce was really good.

We have now placed Aki as our favorite restaurant Their menu has a lot of great choices. Years ago when we would go to Japanese restaurants in Chicago, we enjoyed plum wine. The brand we liked went out of business. Hurray!!! Aki has an awesome plum wine. The food is excellent. The staff is very attentive and the owner friendly. Make sure you get the chance to visit!!
