Update still remains the same. We had a bunch of food for the We tried the stir-fry tofu dinner which came with an eggroll and fried rice. It was obviously americanized but I really enjoyed the tofu, which was puffy with a good flavor. We also tried the special clay pot and egg-drop soup. We had the braised beef claypot with a fried egg on top. While pretty and the flavor of the beef was tasty, the bottom where the rice was, was burnt. Overall this is just still an okay place.

Never order from them again, I try to explain an error on the address and the woman on the phone has no respect for customers, telling the customer and I do Quote her '' Shut up, you're talking too much" I asked her how is someone in your line of profession going to tell the customer to shut up and what do I want? She made me explain my address and name 5 times. This is why I don't order from lazy restaurants that don't care for customer communication. It's her fault that she can't quite understand for 4 minutes what has happened when she is the cause. All she had to do is LISTEN and she would have fixed the problem within seconds. But no, it took 6 minutes and 27 seconds. Rude and unprofessional services.The food didn't arrive until 67 minutes later, and the fries were cold to the touch, and there was no egg roll with my order but the chicken skewers I got for a friend, she said overcooked and very dry meat. Not worth the time to eat from a restaurant that can't respect their customers on the phone and have better food preparation when serving the community.

There are no plastic trees being saved here. Whether you eat in or take out, your food will be served in plastic containers with plastic spoons and plastic cups for water. If you care about not adding to landfills and being less wasteful, bring your own silverware and maybe bowls for the egg-drop soup - which actually wasn't very good. It was extremely greasy and tasteless. Everything else on the menu is probably the best in Madison.We all have a responsibility in creating the world we live in. Not at A8, apparently.
