An overlooked gem!A Touch of Hunan is a business I've been going to for over thirty years. It was a much requested spot for family gatherings, & I still haven't found better crab rangoons anywhere in years of searching. Creamy & plump, just a little sweet & soooo yummy. The food is expertly made, with rich portions & excellent service. They've hit hard times since covid, but the food never fell off. Please support A Touch of Hunan if you can, I never want this amazing place to close down.Plus they got goldfish!!!

Just an FYI. There is no buffet. However, most items that were on the buffet can be ordered from the menu individually. The amount of food you get will be more than enough. The food is great. Don't let the building appearance fool you. Great food and great service inside.

This restaurant is a tiny building on the side of this busy road. It doesn't really catch your eye. You've probably driven past it 100 times and never knew of its existence. It looks like a clean place, but there don't seem to be any people that actually dine in. The lights are turned off in the dining area and there's a nice, cozy little bar to the right of the entrance. Due to the lack of diners, they probably aren't always prepared to be making amazing Chinese food. This is just my opinion, but they're probably just struggling to stay in business. The three people that were at the bar when I entered to do a take out were all regulars. The time it took to make the food wasn't that spectacular but wasn't TOO bad. It took probably 20-30 minutes for 4 dishes. With the lack of customers though, I had expected the wait to be a bit quicker but nothing to complain much about it. The service was okay. (I've experienced worse service at Chinese restaurants.) I was greeted and helped promptly after I walked in. I ordered fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, and some other stir fried dish, whose name escapes me at the moment. But I'd have to say, this was probably the most disappointing experience with Chinese food. All the dishes I ordered tasted the same! It's as if the chef/cook decided to pour an overwhelming amount of the same soy sauce and spice into each dish. The orange chicken tasted nothing like orange chicken.Usually, the family always never let leftover Chinese food gone to waste. This was the first. We ended up just dumping what we couldn't finish. I'm sorry to say but my family and I won't be dining in or taking out from here again.

We have eaten at Hunan for the last 30 years. My husband likes it because of the buffet. The buffet menu doesn't change much, but it's all you can eat, and tasty. They make the BEST Crab Rangoon, ever! Jenny, the owner, is very friendly. Her husband is the cook.

I've been going to this place for thirty years. I've never ordered from the menu, but go there for the buffet. It's not the greatest place when it comes to decor, but the food is always excellent. If you like crab ragoons, the ones here are large and juicy. You'll get your money's worth on these alone. The other dishes are good too. Considering the price of lunch, or dinner for that matter, it's a real bargain.

Disgusting! I was in the mood for Chinese and opted to try this establishment out. I arrived to an empty parking lot during the noon hour rush and understand why after eating. I was greeted and led to a table in the dimly lit dining room. I approached the buffet and discovered food that was not fresh with maybe one serving of each dish in the 8-10 pans. The pepper steak had a layer of film over it and looked like it hadn't been stirred in over an hour. The low mien and individual pieces of chicken for sweet and sour chicken stuck to the bottom of the pan. As mentioned in the previous review, there were a few "regulars" at the bar having drinks and spewing filth from their mouths. I should have just left after viewing the buffet, but chose to tough it out and give it a try. Big mistake! All of the food tasted the same except for the egg roll that tasted like cardboard. I am not a picky eater, usually not complaining about food, but this was by far the worst Chinese food I ever encountered. The should just close up!
