I only got a few dirty looks from customers while wearing my vacation shorts and crocs. The chocolate covered pretzels from their chain may have ruined my ability to purchase them from anywhere else, can't justify the 2 hour drive there for that tho. Try them, please. Don't let this be my curse alone.

This quaint little grocery store in Adams friendship is the go to place for dry goods, food, liquor, etc in the area. The staff have always been warm and friendly, meeting concerns with no issue. My wife enjoys a special coffee Creamer and they have ordered it and kept it stocked just for her. I enjoy visiting and it's convenient to boot.

I have been to this store many times. I'm usually stopping in to forage for food and beverages for the weekend, so I'm not usually shopping the entire store and watching expiration dates that closely (previous Yelper states to watch dates). Their beer selection is surprisingly good for this area. I like that they have lots of micro brews to choose from. I like that you can buy the single bottles (mix/match 6 packs). PLEASE NOTE: You have to purchase your beer/liquor in that department (they have 2 check outs over there). They have the sections of the store laid out pretty good and labelled well. Their produce is OK for the area. Not the best that I've seen. Their prices tend to be a little higher, so watch for their sales. I like the deli area and their daily dinner specials. I've bought quite a few of their salads and prepared hot foods over the years. The best spot in the store- the ice cream station. Get yourself a medium twist cone. That's my favorite. I like that they have helium balloons and party decorations too. So, for the casual weekender, this store gets a 4 stars.

For a small town, this is an amazing grocery store. Compared to many small towns I've been to, the grocery stores are usually lacking but not this one. Great service, clean and has a TON of produce for grilling out on that nice summer day. Also gigantic liquor section ;)

Pretty solid grocery store for a small town. Well stocked and the grapes and raspberries I bought were good. Prices seemed reasonable and staff was very friendly. Its Wisconsin so of course they had a pretty decent beer selection.

we use county market quite often. It carries some things that the big store does not. But because it's not a big box store, it can't carry everything that they do. We've gotten their meat several times specially their steaks and they've been wonderful. Their sales on soda is great. And the people have always been very pleasant.

I recently moved back to the area after a 45 year absence. There used to be 4 grocery stores, jewelry, shoe, department and drug store, liquor store and a 24 hour restaurant and a theatre. What happened? Oh it's cheaper to drive 35 miles and shop. No, not really. If you dont shop local, businesses disappear, as they have.I for one am not willing to drive a 70 mile round trip to save 5 bucks. This so far has been a decent store,as with most you do need to watch dates, and I highly doubt they sold horse meat as stated in another review. And, Walmart is not the be all either,,they also have problems. So ,if you dont shop here it will go away, and that wont be a good thing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. No employees were wearing masks and they are constantly handling groceries all day. One was even coughing on the food. Disgusting.

Most items in this store is marked up double and triple if surrounding stores dont carry it. For an example, The Dollar store had a health product for $4.99 but when they stopped carrying it, County Market raised their price too $8.00 and with Evers tax hike brought it to over $10 for a $6.00 product. I once bought one head of cabbage there for $5.00 not knowing what the price should have been because this was my first time buying cabbage for my wife and to find out that it was only $1.99 @ WalMart. Also, I had a loaf of bread that I dident notice that it was 2 weeks out of date at the check out counter and it was priced @ $3.99 for a loaf of stale bread. And to top it all off, My neighbor bought a pack of chops from there that dident taste right so she took the remaining 2 to the meat house to have it tested and found out that it was horse meet. These people are taking advantage of everyone just because they can. I know this may not mean anything to people that dont shop elsewhere but this is something I think people should know. And they get away with it. Maybe no one has took time to do background checks on this store. They literally charge you for their convenience and not for the sake of the poor folk. They are crooks and I will NEVER go there again for nothing. You can get many food items @ quik trip for half the price of County Market and within the expiration date as of eggs, bread, butter ect.

Sorry, the food is not fresh and it is expensive as well. Produce section and fresh meats are often terrible. Make sure you watch the dates on the meat!! Many, many times the date is expiring that day. Have taken meat back and they will replace it but it is not acceptable to have to keep doing that. Owner/Management is hard to deal with and not customer-oriented. Quick to be annoyed with everyone.
