5th Quarter Sports Bar & Grill

Friday late lunch. It wasn't busy. Service was attentive and very good. We ordered clam chowder. It was below average, bland, more like a potato soup and lacking in clams and salt. Burgers come with a choice of chip or fries. We upgraded to onion rings for a nominal $2.00 up-charge. Well worth it as you get a lot of big crispy rings with a side of ranch. They were excellent. We each ordered burgers -- a bacon cheddar cheese with onion and tomato and a burger with American cheese, onion, tomato and side of Mayo. Both came medium rare as ordered. I found my burger to be juicy and bland. Once I added a pinch of salt, ketchup and Mayo it was very much better. Drinks are reasonably priced.

AVERAGE... Certainly not docking this place as it is a local Verona favorite and a local watering hole. My coworkers all love it. It has excellent happy hour prices and your average Wisconsin bar, atmosphere and service. Almost everything on the menu is fried with a side of tots. They start making old fashions early on Fridays just as you'd expect.

Great service! Bartenders are friendly and efficient. Nice selection on their menu. Great spot to catch a game and knock back some cold ones!

Our new favorite. Great menu with lots of choices and excellent daily specials. Can't go wrong with burger and sandwiches. Disappointing onion rings but the giant pretzels is, well, large and delicious. Soups are always top notch. I'm trying the pizza next time. Service is attentive and very friendly. No loud Muzak - thank you!

Friendly staff, great food, awesome homemade soups (not mass produced), and plenty of televisions and memorabilia for the sports fan.

New to the area we found this restaurant on yelp. We went for a hamburger and were very happy to have stumbled across a delicious meal, welcoming atmosphere, and additional entertainment with bingo. We will be back for both the food and bingo.

It is still AMAZING to me that you can order pancakes and they REFUSE to heat the syrup. Nothing like pouring cold syrup on warm pancakes. Their attitude was basically, if you don't like it "tough" I could never recommend this as a place for breakfast.
