Reminds me of a trip to Italy...If it's in season you will find the best of the best.If it's not...you shouldn't be looking for it.Great Rockford tradition.

Rockford's best produce--like going to a farmer's market all-year long!Always in season and high-quality, produce from here is the best in town! Although they do not stock a lot of ethnic veggies or fruits regularly, ask the staff and ye shall receive! Bulk items (such as different grains and dry beans), organics, and tasty cheeses round out the selection of well-flavored veggies and fruits and a few limited and sometimes hard-to-find/unique grocery items, including heirloom varieties. Gift baskets are a specialty here, too, as is the daily salad bar. If one can judge the quality of produce by the customer base of a place, I regularly see many of Rockford's better chefs shopping here for items to prepare that day in their restaurant kitchens, so you be the judge... (and yes, FWIW, I see judges and politicians shopping here, too). Personally, my taste buds have been the judge, having me shop here for over decade.

5 stars all around! What a cool little store. It's an indoor farmers market with amazing produce & tons of other snicky snacks. I love how they have local products such as Mrs. Fishers chips there too!I stopped by because my husband had raved about their salad bar. It did not disappoint. I piled my bowl with Italian salad (lettuce, onion, egg, tomato & Italian dressing) & then topped it w/ a 3 bean salad, tortellini salad & a helping of almond chicken salad. DELICIOUS! The salad was around $7.00, but I had an additional .69 cents added b/c I used a card. I will remember that next time.I am so glad I ended up stopping by today. Not only will I be back for their yummy salad bar, but to pick up the freshest produce around for dinners.

Do not be fooled by the appearance from the outside. I thought this was going to be like a convenience store when I went with my mother in law but is a wonderful fresh produce store and has great stuff like a salad bar, fresh bread, nuts, and lots more!

Need more stores like this. A fresh indoor farmers market. A reason to travel downtown.

so, I ACTUALLY LIVE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD --not in other parts of Rockford (or elsewhere). I only use this store when I do not feel like travelling to other stores for very good reasons. The 320 store IS a convenience store. The Staff is helpful Yes, that is true. However, chefs from restaurants DO NOT USE this store for very good reasons - the produce is not ripe or is overly ripe. The canned goods/frozen goods are scattered and look like purchased from other stores and resold here as they keep changing. This store is more like what you would find in a gas station. The meats are okay - not a great selection. Like I said in the beginning- this is a good place to just grab something when can't go to other stores and just really makes the neighborhood not a food desert.

This store is over priced and their food has a funny taste to it everything! I think the department of heath should be called! Why is it that neighbor hood stores are always messed up and over priced! This store is a joke!
