Excellent food, family owned and operated. Very pleasant people! My husband "Mel" orders and picks up the food.

The food is pretty good, I got the carne asada and it was pretty good. Their chips are also solid. The service is always quick and reliable. The restaurant is well laid out and in good clean condition. They don't have tons of space so could be tough for large crowds.

Family owned Mexican restaurant located in Lake Villa! They have a couple of different meat dishes, tacos, and sandwiches, they also sell alcohol if you would like to accompany your food with a beer or margarita. Do not sleep on 3 amigos. This is one of the best restaurants in lake villa. I usually always order breakfast from here; they have huge portion sizes so you usually have to take it home but then you get left overs! My family each got something different. I ordered the denver omelet which was super cheesy! They also came with a side of pancakes! There was no wait and the waitress was super attentive. Can't wait to go back!

This place is pretty good! The service was good, very kind and attentive waiter with quick service too. Seems like this spot gets lots of takeout, which is awesome for them. I got the chicken fajitas and the price was amazing and I had left overs for day with it. I like this spot! Great pico de Gallo as well

Drive past this place all the time, been meaning to try it out; so glad I stopped in for lunch today. Ordered the three taco meal (went with asada beef)--meal comes w rice and beans--and a small guacamole and chips. Stopping was legit the best decision I've made all day! First, the steak was juicy and flavorful and these tacos were, hands down, the most flavorful and delicious steak tacos I've had since I moved to Illinois! And these are not skimpy tacos!--I could barely close them because they tacos were stuffed w so much steak, pico de gallo, cheese, lettuce, and cilantro. Oh my gosh, my mouth is watering while I think about those tacos!!Small guacamole and chips were tasty, chips needed a little salt, but otherwise everything was PERFECT! Also, I ordered from my car (since I had some time to kill), and let the girl who took my order know, she offered to take my card over the phone and do curbside pickup, which I really appreciated. I am not joking when I say I had my hot and fresh taco within less than 10 minutes!! Try this place out!!! You won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed our dinner tonight! Service was outstanding and attentive. Husband's burger was perfectly cooked and delicious! My taco plate was yummy: best - pork taco, good - chorizo, tinga - way too spicy for me but also yummy! The tortilla soup was sooooooo delish (my evening's favorite bites)! Casual atmosphere.

My wife and I go there for the shrimp tacos, steak tacos and the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. All are fantastic! I wish I could get guacamole without onions. Great food and service, we go there 2-3 times a month,min..

Food and service, very good! Probably the best guacamole I've had in years! The portabello mushroom burrito was excellent.
