Nice place to go if you're in the Racine area. A bit pricey for what you're getting but the atmosphere is nice, service is friendly, and the food is presented well although the flavors are not far off from what you'd expect from other restaurants. Convenient if you're staying at the hotel and want a nice relaxing and quiet place to enjoy a meal.In general all the food tasted fresh and did seem to use slightly better than normal ingredients. My favorite dish I tried was the Gnocchi Ala Vodka as the other ones seemed to be a bit bland. I also enjoyed the Beer Braised Reuben as the taste of the beef was prominent and the other elements complemented instead of distracted from the flavor.I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here again but I would stop by if I'm in the area.

While a guest at the Delta Marriott for a few days, I went to the restaurant, the hotel's restaurant, for breakfast. After being seated, I was provided a cup of coffee and a glass of water. There was one waitress for the entire place. I ordered the All-America Breakfast with two eggs over medium, turkey sausage, and wheat toast. After a 20-25 minute wait, the breakfast arrived. The eggs were so over cooked that they were inedible. The sausage had little flavor and in fact tasted like it had been frozen far too long. I ate the toast, a few of the breakfast potatoes and the sausage. The waitress asked me how my food was. I nicely told her and showed her that the eggs were awful. She smiled and walked away. She brought the bill, I paid it and left. Marriott should be ashamed that they have a restaurant that can't put out a good breakfast. Stay away from this place.

Had dinner here mid week because I was staying at the hotel. Restaurant was nearly empty. I got to choose my seat and I. Picked a big booth. Since I was alone, I sat on the quiet side to work vs on the louder bar side. I ordered a small Caesar without croutons and a cheeseburger, medium, with blue cheese, double lettuce, and tomato with fries. Lighting was low which was great to see the computer screen. Music was on the perfect background volume. The Caesar was really tasty! But it did have croutons as wells as grape tomatoes and olives. I would get it again. The burger was prepared a specified. It came on a pretzel bun. I asked the server which was better- the homemade fries or the homemade potato chips. He said both were good but he gets the fries. So that's what I got. The homemade fries were very, very good. Too good! The key lime pie was tart, the way I like it. The presentation was very fancy too. My waiter said the cheesecakes were the best sellers. Maybe next time! It took awhile to hunt someone down to pay my bill. This is a great option if dining alone and you want to work.

Friday night is the time for fish fry and this is the place. Your greeted as you enter the doors by a smiling host or hostesses. The restaurant has seating for a more relaxed feel or you can choose the bar for a bit of a trendy vibe. Your server will bring you fresh rolls and Chicago flatts to nibble on while the kitchen prepares your meal. You have the choice of fried or baked fish. Why not be daring and order both. I personally love the french fries, hand cut but choose the potatoe thats your favorite. All in all a great place to have dinner if you're alone or a party of 20 (Call ahead it's the polite way to go!) they have you covered.

We had this place on our agenda to try for quite some time. It was Monday, 5PM, and there were about 4 regulars at the bar and 1 other table when we arrived. The server and bartender were slow to seat and take our order, but she was cheerful and her demeanor warranted a better overall experience, but alas... no.We had the French onion soup and mozzarella wonton for starters. The soup was done well and the highlight of the night. The mozzarella was a pre-made, frozen one that was in need of more cooking as the centers were just above cold. The main courses were a Oakes burger and bistro filet. The steak was clearly not a filet, but a sirloin cut and it was done rare, just short of blue when it was ordered medium rare. Luckily, my wife likes rare meat and we could eat it as we were lucky to see a server as she looked way too frazzled for the light business load. The burger was done okay, but lack3d seasoning and was quite small in portion (1/4 pound appearance) for price. No value for money spent and a place to avoid in our opinion.

Five people ate. Five people had lackluster, under seasoned meals. The reason for my 2 star rating was the excellent service. The chef needs to learn what salt should be used for. Bland and boring. Burgers ok. Convenient yes. Parking yes. Food no.

A group of five of us went there last night for the Friday fish fry. The dining room had all the charm and character of a hospital cafeteria! I'm assuming that our waitress was new, but her personality matched the charm of the dining room itself. One of the people in our party had a discount coupon for 25% off - and that's why we chose this place to begin with. The food was nothing to write home about. The fish was nice and crispy, but it lacked any real flavor. Oh, by the way, our waitress never informed us at the start that it was an all-you-can-eat fish fry. She did come around later to ask if we did want more. That was the only time she returned to our table the entire meal. We had to ask twice to get some ketchup for french fries. The biggest fiasco came when our bill was presented to us. It totaled $93. We presented the 25% coupon, and asked that the bill be split between two credit cards. Easy enough, right? Not so much! Each of the two credit cards were returned to our table, along with two credit slips, each for $45 plus change. We brought the two slips back up to the register, where we discovered that when they split the bill, they also doubled all of our drink orders! We were then told that since they had already run the two credit cards, they couldn't reverse those charges - but she could correct the amounts and have them run through again, and after 24 hours the original incorrect charges would disappear through the bank. What?!? No, thanks! We left the original charges as they were, and told her to take the servers tip out of the excess, even though the tip would end up being WAY more than she deserved. To summarize, the place lacks character, charm, good food, and good service. Oh, yes, I forgot - the best part is they try to overcharge you for all of this greatness. Can't wait to return - NOT!

Not much in the area that's healthy so I opted for a Greek salad w/ Salmon & a side of steamed veggies from here as it was attached to my hotel. The quality of everything was really great. Field greens, chopped veggies and really delicious Greek dressing on the side (garlicky so keep that in mind). The salmon was a generous size and cooked with a nice crispness. The side of veggies was just broccoli and cauliflower steamed, but a good size portion and I could tell it was from fresh veggies and not frozen. I ordered from the bar and waited to take back to my room, during which I was asked multiple times by various staff members if I'd at least like a water or anything while I waited. All were very nice and attentive to every patron in the area. I didn't give a higher rating because the menu is EXTREMELY limited and typical...burgers, a few salads, etc.

Stayed at the Marriott that is connected to the restaurant thought I would get a quick dinner. Didn't feel like driving. First mistake was mine to lazy to drive to a restaurant.Second mistake was eating at this place. Ordered barbecue pork tacos that came with deep fried onion rings. Came on Dollar Store flour tortillas and pretty sure the barbecue pork came out of a 5 gallon bucket off the back of a low end industrial food supply truck. Onion rings were dripping deep fry oil.As a craft beer fan I would suggest you plan on going elsewhere which is good because it will probably keep you from eating here,Upside fast and friendly service at the bar.In the end you really should just avoid this place no reason to settle for the stuff they serve here.
