We went here for a New Year's Eve dinner! The drinks were amazing! We got a goat cheese appetizer which was 10/10! Food was filled with flavor as well! Overall a really great place to check out. The only thing was the prices were pretty high for their more average food.

First time to the 1855 Saloon. Although expecting a real saloon (swinging entry doors, large mirror behind the bar, sawdust & dirt on the floor), the feel was excellent. Service at the bar was fantastic: quick & entertaining, knowledgeable & efficient bartenders (Madyson & Makenzie (?)) serving delicious adult beverages . Food was excellently prepared and a good portion size. Made a fun evening. Thanks

Never heard of the place , my friend said " stop here" sat at the bar , ordered a prime rib sandwich and it was up quickly and it was delicious . The bartender was on point and very informative, he was tipped well because of it . The ambiance is very versatile as it could be a great date place or family outing . The patio can be perfect for a group of guy just wanting beers and watching a game

Let me start with one positive note....service was fabulous. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive. But everything else was subpar. I'm guessing new ownership making bad choices. This is probably our fifth time dining here so we can see the differences. Wine prices up with smaller pour. Our "artisan" bread was sliced commercially made rolls. Caesar was drowning in dressing and croutons. Pizza was burnt, scant on toppings and there is no way that crust was made from scratch. Very disappointed.

We met our brothers and sister-in-laws for dinner on Thursday. Loved sitting in the screened-in porch. Drinks and dinner and lots of time to catch up on family news. Everyone had different meals and everyone loved the food. The scallops were fabulous. The chicken parmesan was so big, my husband couldn't finish it. Salads and soups were great as was the rest of the entrees. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Don't know why I haven't reviewed 1855 before, sat out on the enclosed patio and it was cozy and scenic. We had the Friday fish fry, the fish , clam chowder fries and coleslaw were great and the staff was also pleasant! Never had a Manhattan before and it kicked my but, 1 and done!

We've dined here many times over the last year and each experience has been outstanding. I'm not sure why they received mediocre reviews because the food, service, take out, Mother's Day brunch, New Year's Eve menu have all been outstanding! Definitely one of our favorite places to go for lunch, dinner and special occasions!

It was alright. Nothing special. However, they try to make it seem special. The lighting was very low. I don't know if that was supposed to make it fancier, or not. The wait staff was top-notch. The food was pretty good, but not great. It was glorified bar food being served at upscale prices. If the prices had been a little more fair, I probably would have given this place four stars instead of three. When the bill came out, for three people, it was over $100. Two fish fries, an order of slightly dry pasta, and cheese curds and two beers--it was $100. $120 with a decent tip. I don't know of any fish fry in the area that's worth $100. I'd go back to this joint, but not with any sort of haste. Likely, given better options out there, I may never return.

Don't order the prime rib - it's inedible. Served rare only (even when requesting it cooked more), silver skin not trimmed. Overly salty. Over priced meal. House made potato chips are good. But that is the best I can say.

Got the Margarita pizza and it was great! The Mediterranean salad was quite large and decent tasting. I wouldn't recommend getting the barque sauce unless you like dark lagers, was quite a surprise when I dipped a fry in it. Not something that was bad but defiantly wasn't expecting it to taste like that. Staff were nice and friendly and the place had a nice interior with good views!
