1840 Brewing

Went 4 times, and each time the beer selections dwindle. We're down to if you like only IPA, seltzer, and something called "sea foam ", this place is for you. So wanted the place to succeed, but if you like real craft beer, you will be increasingly disappointed. The darker beers are totally gone.

My husband and I were excited to try out 1840. The atmosphere seemed great, but we were very disappointed in the service. We only planned to stop for a drink or two. The bartender we saw just kept chatting with a group of people but didn't appear to be helping them with drinks. We waited 5 minutes at the bar and felt completely ignored. (Most of the bar was empty, so you couldn't miss us.) There were no other customers that needed service until someone came 5 minutes after us and then called over a worker for help. They helped that customer and walked away. I really hope service turns around because this would be a great addition to West Bend.
