Milkweed was the perfect little spot to have breakfast! The menu is very unique, offering so many options for all to enjoy. The Ambiance was fun! And the service was fast! We ordered:-**Matcha Latte** - Delicious!!- **Power Bowl**: The perfect bowl if you're looking for a healthy, flavorful option.- **Buttermilk Fried Chicken**: The chicken was crisped to perfection!- **Pan-Roasted Brussel Sprouts**: A delicious add-on!- **Morning Madness**: Eggs cooked to perfection, savory potatoes, and the greatest pancakes we've ever had!All so delicious!! 10/10

Was walking nearby and decided to try this place for a late dinner. An average experience overall. Service was not bad but also not exactly friendly either. We weren't asked if we wanted to order drinks, kind of odd. I guess they couldn't be bothered. The entrees were decent, but lacking in flavor - way more bland than they should have been. Small space, so be prepared to sit very close to other guests. Prices for the entrees were reasonable and portion sizes were good, but I don't think I'd go back.

A popular brunch spot in Boston that is popular for a reason - but is it worth it?Milkweed is loved because of its trendy food that is relatively good. They have unique offerings like lucky charms pancakes and Dutch baby's. Along with this, it's a super cute spot! However, it's in a weird part of town and it's super hard to park. The parking lot they do have is converted to outdoor seating (where you'll def be seated if you don't have a reservation).Service is eh- which makes sense for a trendy place. It's also pretty pricey. I think this would be a good special occasion place because it's fun but it's definitely not a place you go to very often.

I have visited Milkweed every time I'm in the area, which works out to 4-5 times a year and have been known to dine here 2-3 days in a row. It's that good. But today was an off day. To be fair I was there at 2pm on a weekday. No crowds but takeout activity seemed decent. Did not seem to be short staffed but servers and cooks were always doing something. That said after I gave my order, other than my food being delivered there was virtually no follow up. I had to ask for some milk on the side. I had to ask for more water. I had to ask for the check. It was like I was invisible. I have been here solo many times previously so I don't think that's the issue. Also the oatmeal which was always perfect was sadly DRY and tasted TERRIBLE. My egg sandwich was fine but was still somewhat soft when I had asked for it to be over hard. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I really hope it's not a sign of the place going downhill.

Second time here and still good. It's a local favorite and can get busy at peak times. This time we had the chopped salad which hit the spot with tasty dressing. The chicken sandwich is always good too. Love that the workers here seem happy to work here - good vibe.

Was so excited to try Milkweed since it seems to be a Boston brunch staple, but honestly had a disappointing experience. First, they kicked us off the waitlist when we were about 2 groups away from being seated. (Maybe a text ahead of time from the store to see if we were still interested could've prevented this) but after running in to ask the worker they put us back on.In terms of food, it's about what you'd expect from anything with nutella and strawberries. It's delicious in the first couple bites but over time the toast ended up getting too gooey from all the wet condiments. The iced coffee of the day was actually horrible though. No matter how much sugar or milk we added, it still tasted like water. Don't get the daily coffees (even though they got cute sounding flavors like Caramel Crunch) they don't taste like anything. I don't see myself coming back here tbh.

Milkweed is my favorite brunch place in Roxbury and it's always a joy to go back! This time we got the buttermilk fried chicken and it was one the best things on their menu. I'll definitely be back to try other things on their menu!

I have been to this establishment twice now and it has been disappointing both times. We waited outside for 30 mins and got a text saying we were taken off the waitlist. Went back in to get put back on the waitlist. The wait was said to be 60 mins max but it was much longer than what was expected, the food was decent but nothing amazing. It lacked flavor for the most part. The second time I went, I tried their specialty coffee (banana hazelnut and caramel something). It was awful we took 2 sips and never touched it again. The French toast was good but it's Nutella on bread, you can't really mess that up.

I've visited a couple times and each time, the food was amazing. First time was on a weekend in the summer and there was a very short wait. Recent weekends have been super busy, may be because school is in session. The Yelp waitlist was over 30 parties and over a hour wait at 12 pm, though you may be able to get a seat faster if you go in person. Once you do get seated, the service is very fast. The setup and decor is nice and makes a great a casual brunch spot. The food is great and portion sizes are very filling. The fruit they use is fresh and not too sweet. My favorite for breakfast is the salmon cakes and I love their corned beef hash. Their iced coffee with flavored shots is mediocre. I personally don't mind it, but I wouldn't recommend it to people that enjoy their coffee sweet and creamy. I would definitely come again for dinner and try out the other items on their menu.
