This ice cream shop has tasty unique options everyone will enjoy. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. With plenty of restaurant options in the area, this is a great choice for dessert. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even with the brutal Texas heat, there were plenty of people outside enjoying with ice cream which made the shop even more inviting and enticing. I would recommend getting a double scoop so you can enjoy at least two of their delicious flavors. Cheers!!

So excited for this new location to open! The ambience inside and out are really cute. There's a little grass area outside that's perfect for sitting. The two flavors I got were: Rain or shine and City that never sleeps. The earl grey + lemon combo was sooo good. It was my favorite. The icecream was really smooth as well. The only part I didn't love is when I walked up the person behind the counter immediately said: "you only get to try only 5 flavors" which felt a little hostile since I hadn't even asked yet. Maybe she didn't mean it that way but I was a little put off.

DELICIOUS creamy ice cream! I've been to every location of Milk + Sugar and none of them disappoint. It's our favorite ice cream shop. The flavors are unique and so good. Our favorites are Thai tea, city that never sleeps and ube. The seating area is clean and bright. The service was not the friendliest at this location. This is definitely a must try in Houston!

I can't tell you how much I love milk + sugar! When I heard they were opening a West U location, I gasped at how close they were to me. Just within walking distance! Forget buying dessert at Kroger next door, I'm going to milk + sugar! It's also the PERFECT dessert stop after a dinner in the area.PLENTY of parking! The space inside is spacious! There's even enough space to sit outside. (Just no tables yet)Their waffle cones are truly the best! You will never see me getting a cup. Their waffle cones have such a distinct brown sugar taste that you can't pass up.I've tried every single flavor and I keep coming back to the almond strawberry cheesecake and the butter pecan streusel. Look, I love this place so much that I would have them catered at my wedding. You best believe the two best flavors will be there.

Like the location in Montrose, this new location is great too. I really liked the fudge sundae and cereal milk flavors (the cereal milk flavor is delightful and is like the flavor at Milk Bar in New York, just ice cream instead of soft serve). The place is clean and nice, and there's actually enough seating indoors for a group to sit down. And there's an area outside as well where you can enjoy your ice cream.Don't get me wrong, the ice cream was delightful--and it should be delightful for how much we paid. For three small cups of ice cream our group paid about $24 (including tax and tip). I get it, that's what most high-end ice cream places are charging these days, but still!

This is my new favorite milk + sugar location due to the fact that is not overcrowded like the Montrose location, and I feel there is more ample space in store instead of feeling crowded. This time I ordered the dulce de horchata & strawberry almond cheesecake on a waffle cone. I have tried nearly every flavor here-- and happy wife, heart of glass and strawberry shortcake are also great picks and some of my fave staples. The flavors here even tasted more fresh and creamy compared to other locations. Service was speedy and friendly!! There is an outdoor patio setting as well, making it a nice spot to cool off for summertime.

If you live in houston and have not been blessed by milk + sugar's ice cream, you have not lived your life to the fullest. guys this is the best ice cream place in all of houston. i'm not lying when i say every single flavor is genuinely the best ice cream i've ever had. i have no idea how they get their consistency so smooth and perfect. their flavors are always the perfect combinations of ingredients you'd never think to combine. i come here or the montrose location almost every single day and i am in awe after tasting my ice cream. some of my favourite flavors include: the city that never sleeps (a classic), rain or shine, and strawberry almond cheesecake (tastes like the whole foods berry chantilly cake). also their website features in depth descriptions of every flavor so you can see what you'd like. love this place so much

Upon arriving the exterior already catches the eye, and the interior is even more aesthetically pleasing. And what is even greater than the place is the ice cream itself, I love how they offer flavors you can't find anywhere else and are all betond amazing. Friendly service great atmosphere and most importantly amazing ice cream!

What a pleasant surprise to find an ice cream parlor located at the same shopping center with Kroger and Capital One Bank. I frequent the Plaza in the Park mall for groceries and banking. It doesn't take long to find Milk+Sugar. I came here after an hour of workout at 24 Hour Fitness at West University. I figured that I burned 300 calories and I should deserve to replenish with a delicious ice cream. Employees were friendly and helpful. They explained how to identify seasonal and regular flavors on the labels. Yellow ones are the usuals. I sampled Ube with coconut water and Love is Love. I didn't quite like the coconut flavor overpowering ube. The rainbow sprinkles are overly sweet for the simple ice cream. Then, I glanced over to the usual ones. I was thinking the phrase "good wife good life". I didn't ask for sample. I assumed it should be good. Sure, it was. I loved the simple ingredients and lightly sweet. I had one scoop in a cone. The waffle cone was so fresh and delicious. I felt like getting another one. But I think I'd better come back when I get to burn calories next time.
