My friends and I were visiting Chicago for Lollapalooza and needed a place to end the night. We looked at a couple places but the original we went to was packed. Luckily we found Miki's Park, a Korean karaoke bar open late at night. Coming to the venue felt like an unique experience from the decorated doors and the blossom ceilings walking inside. There's a long pathway of booths and a digital photo booth before reaching the bar, more seating, and the karoke platform. There's screens throughout the venue to follow along with the song playing. The service is great, and such a fun place for my friends to end our trip. Shoutout Eddie, Yair, and Sonny the body guard, and all the other people enjoying the night at Mikis. Wrapped it up memorably.

I visited Mikis Park in River North last night with a friend, and it was an unfortunate experience. The food was not good at all; everything was salty with no other taste, definitely not what I expected. But more importantly, it wasn't Korean food at all. It was disappointing to see people eating their dishes, thinking this is what Korean food tastes like.To make matters worse, the bartender was extremely rude and aggressive. Her attitude really dampened the evening. The decor felt like a bizarre mix of Japanese and North Korean themes, which was confusing and out of place. This might be a Chinese operation. There are way better options in the city for authentic Korean food, like Ahjooma or Tak Bistro, both of which serve great Korean food with way better service. I wouldn't recommend Mikis Park to anyone looking for authentic Korean food or a pleasant dining experience.

Came here on a late night tip. The restaurant is definitely a vibe, and gives a nice late night spot. Our service was great and he was very very nice! We ordered:* LFG Wings - the taste was....very different and seemed citrusy. It was a flavor I didn't anticipate and it definitely threw me off a bit. The wings were cooked VERY well. I suggest getting the sauce on the side.* Seoul Sliders - burgers cooked good, but the taste that was on the wings was the same taste on the burger and it just threw me off; it also tasted slightly salty. * Leggo My Eggrolls - B O M B!!! I ordered an extra order to take to my room. The sauce was good, fried to perfection, these things were BOMB and I think it had bulgogi in it!If ever back, I would immediately order the Eggrolls again, but I would try other meal items.

Staff was great, happy hour was okay, ambiance was fun. We went for happy hour on a Friday and they played KPOP music, which was cute. For happy hour we tried their hot dogs, sliders, bottle of soju, and some beer. The hot dogs were surprisingly good but the sliders were really salty and but plain (didn't have any toppings or cheese). We then ordered a ton of cocktails, which were all $15-16 and super sweet.I'm giving 3 stars because the happy hour menu wasn't great and that they INCLUDE 20% gratuity on but I don't think they mentioned it? SO WE ENDED UP TIPPING 40%, which is really annoying because the bill wasn't cheap to begin with. I assume they should be telling their guests when they are automatically charging. When we got the bill, my friend couldn't really read the receipt well because it was super dark inside. Oh well.

Stopped on a Saturday evening for tiger hour and had a good time! We stopped by around 6 pm and it was nearly empty inside so it was not difficult to get a table, although I did make a reservation ahead of time. I got the cherry blossom cocktail as well as the seoul sliders, which are $10 during tiger hour! I really enjoyed the cocktail and liked the sliders as well, although they were a little too salty for my taste. Would definitely check it out if you're looking for a change in bar scene in Chicago!

Stop here while in Chicago I thought it was a restaurant from doing my research but ended up being a nightclub. I decided to grab some chicken n fries which were good but nothing to write home about. The inside had a nice decor and staff were nice just wasn't a restaurant like I had thought.

We spotted Miki's Park at random and dropped in during Tiger Hour for an appetizer and a beer before a show on a Tuesday night.Man I'm glad we gave it a shot... We were greated instantly with a big smile and shown to our table. The whole place is lined with tables with booth bench along the wall and chairs on the aisle side. Decor is classy and cute and very much a delightful K-Pop explosion. It was a very nice after work wind-down vibe and we ordered accordingly. We each got a Miki's Park draft beer which was filled to the top with a very drinkable light tasting lager (that I suspect you'd be wise to choose when enjoying a drink with a buddy...)We started with Omma's dumplings which are filled with glass noodles and veggies and are served nicely crisped on one side with a tasty dipping sauce. We also chose two banchan (Cucumber Kimchi and Daikon Radish). Both were perfectly seasoned. The cucumbers were spicy/salty and the daikon was sweet/spicy. Nothing was too spicy, just enough to give a wake up to your senses. Then we decided to add on the K-Popcorn Chicken which was definitely a good idea even if only for the dipping sauces. The chicken was hot and crispy and dusted with a tangy spice blend and the sauces were a gochujang aioli (spicy mayo) and sticky sauce (similar to Korean BBQ sauce). Their tagline is "The best kept secret in Chicago" but that will not be true for very long. I will be back the next time we visit Chicago and I know they have the potential to franchise so I won't be surprised if the secret spreads to Detroit one day.

The KFC sandwich was pretty good and tasty. Nicely cooked with some veggies and pickles on the side. The service is excellent here they are always attentive and friendly. It's a Vpop type feel here with good vibes and a live Dj. They have vpop also playing on their screens as well. Food and place is great and definitely worth the visit!

My friend and I stopped by here for some dinner and drinks. We were seated upon arrival even though it was already pretty busy! We were seated by the bar. Friday night is Kpop night so it was playing the entire time we were there.Food & Drinks:I ordered the Kpop-a-loma and it was pretty good. I didn't read that it has mezcal in it, but that was a nice surprise. For dinner, I ordered the seoul sliders with the impossible sliders. They were absolutely delicious. I would come back here for the sliders alone. My friend ordered some kaarage and pickles. She enjoyed her chicken & I thought the pickles were good.Service:Our service was quick and friendly. Our drinks and food were both served promptly without too much of a wait. Our main server came by a few times to check on us as well. TL;DR - Delicious sliders with crafty cocktails, highly recommend!
