Man... I have been in Cali for at least 20 years... THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST BURRITOS!!!I was in the area tonight and checked Yelp to see what reviews were given about this place and let me tell you, if I could give 10 STARS I would...WOW WOW WOW....My new favorite place for Burritos

"Beachside burrito haven with diverse salsas and a cozy patio under a tattoo parlor." Say less.The steak n' shrimp Cali burrito ($15.99) is the size of a baby. I mean it's not, but it's pretty massive and not to mention heavy. It comes stuffed with shrimp & steak, fries, sour cream + guacamole plus all the fixings: jack cheese, tomato, onions and cilantro. The tender steak alongside that juicy shrimp is something else. On their own, both are quite good, but together, they make a phenomenal steak n' shrimp situation. I also love that the burrito gets a little grill time after it's made. Those grill marks really do it me. Saw a girl ask for extra orange sauce and I did the same. Trust. You should too.I love a good California surf n' turf burrito and Mike's version slaps. If you find yourself in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend making a pit stop at Mike's.

I've come here a couple times in the past two years. The location is great being so close to the beach and it's accessible. I found it because I was at Ocean Beach and got hungry. It's a great quick spot to get something easy. I like that they have seating inside and outside. It's a more rundown beachy kind of place. The service was great and the cashier was really friendly and made sure that I got everything I needed. I've had the Carne Asada burrito the last three times and it hasn't disappointed. It is quite large, so grab a knife! It can get messy as well, but the flavors are great!

EAT HERE!Was at the beach enjoying the view and came here since it's literally a 1 min walk. I was so surprised at how authentic this small business is and also how busy it got! Despite how busy they were, they got our food out in a decent time.The burritos were so amazing and the sauces were perfect! The drinks were also as expected and so delicious. Our total was $45 so it's definitely a bit expensive but the portion was huge and the taste was delicious so no complaints from us.The decor was so cute and perfect for being so close to the beach.I would absolutely come back again. 5/5!

A nice, simple taco shop - you order at the counter and have the option of sitting inside or outdoors if you want to "dine-in" instead of getting take out. I had the California burrito and carne asada fries - if you want a taste of these classic San Diego dishes, I'd recommend! It's definitely going to set your bar for what these classic SD dishes should taste like.The California burrito was delicious: you get a healthy serving of guac and carne asada so you're definitely getting your money's worth. The burrito is very big - I ordered one after a run and found it more than filling for my hungry stomach. It's not well wrapped - but it's easy enough to re-wrap it for yourself. The carne asada fries were also excellent: again you get a great helping of everything and the fries are perfectly cooked and perfect for eating with the loaded food. I was able to order with Google Pay - but the person at the counter did seem slightly confused if it was accepted so it seems like a more recent option/YMMV.

Holy moly this place was awesome! The line is long but worth the wait. Typical beach establishment with a cool, casual vibe and limited outdoor seating. Don't let that deter you! The food is outstanding. We had battered fish tacos, cali burrito, veggie burrito, and carne asada burrito. They were all huge. We ate and were full but still had leftovers. The salsa was also really good. The aguas frescos were yummy and perfect for a beach day. Highly recommend!

Located right under a tattoo shop in Ocean Beach sits Mike's taco club.Food is fair. Nothing too crazy, basic taco shop vibes. The burritos are fair sized but they were rolled poorly.Fell apart, but overall not bad. they did have some pretty good hot sauce though and the service was good. The guy at the register was nice and friendly. I noticed that they have another shop across the street called Harry's tacos. Menu is the same except it is connected to a burger joint. Maybe I'll try that place out next time.

I stopped in after browsing the farmer's market. I just got a margarita and loved it. 9 bucks and packs a bunch and is sweet and pretty smooth. I recommend stopping by for a drink. Their food menu also looks great. The lady that helped me was kind and seemed to care about her job which is always appreciated.

Bomb, as usual...and much better than sitting in this ER on NYE.I absolutely love their carne asada here. It reminds me of the feeling I used to get from Lucha back when wthey were a single operation. Located under a tattoo parlor, lies this unassuming joint that usually has a pretty fat line. Prices have been going up, but you can still get a fatties carne asada burrito with added beans for about $14. These burritos are massive and it's rare that I can finish it in one sitting. I highly recommend asking for extra habanero sauce as there are 3 different sauces to choose from-red salsa, chipotle sauce, or the habanero (it's creamy and slightly green). If you're in the area, and don't mind getting messy, I highly highly recommend you try Mike's!
