Saw a Yelper comparing Mike's Noodle House to Max Noodle House in Richmond, British Columbia and decided to try it while I was in Seattle. I'm afraid I'd have to disagree: I personally think Max is better. We ordered a regular and a large wonton noodle soup, a wonton and sui kau (dumpling) soup, a Sam-pan congee, and a Chinese donut. Even though the restaurant was less than half full (it was 10:30am), the server got half the orders wrong: the regular wonton noodle soup was missing and the wonton and sui kau soup became a plain sui kau soup. She wasn't very polite: never apologized, just quickly snatched the bowl of sui kau soup and replaced it. She didn't have a smile on until we were leaving and she said thank you.Food was a 3.5 stars. The wonton and sui kau were good, soup base was decent. The noodles had some residual alkaline taste 鹼水味。There were five pieces of wonton in both the regular and the large noodle soup. The only difference was the amount of noodles. The amount of noodles was a bit much compared to the topping. The Chinese donut was cold, so probably not made in house. The Sam-pan congee was my favorite. It's very authentic with a lot of pork skin, squid, and peanuts. The congee base was excellent. Good wonton noodle soup is very hard to come by even though it seems simple. Mike's Noodle House is probably as good as it gets around Seattle.

My daughter and her husband recommended Mike's Noodle House. Ordered won tonmein with Sui kau. Broth was really delicious and cooked to perfection. The Sui kau and won ton plump and so tasty. Can't wait to return to Seattle and have more. We had our lunch a bit early so not much people. Before finishing the place was full. The server was so very helpful in describing the different things. Outstanding

This was one of the best noddle soups I've ever had! No exaggeration! This is a decent size restaurant, cash only. I ordered the beef noodle and wonton soup. A large size was shareable depending how hungry you are. The wontons were very good and the beef very flavorful. They serve you tea at no extra charge. People come and go very fast, you feel a bit rushed,'z they brought out check almost right after the food. Very generous amounts for the price. You must stop here when you are in Seattle's Chinatown!

A quick-service ma and pop shop with a good selection of soup noodles, dry noodles, congee, and vegetable sides. I love wonton noodle soup and this place always hits the spot especially when it's cold. The inside is a bit old and small, but it brings a very comforting feeling. It was an hour before closing and we had a party of 9 and luckily got seated right away because shortly after there was a waitlist. Their wontons are huge and super filling because they put whole shrimps inside. The soup is also simple, but very flavorful! They were also very accommodating because one of us can't eat shellfish so they gave other options. I definitely recommend this place when it comes to comfort food! Btw, they only accept cash here.

Mike's Noodle House has all the hallmarks you expect out of an incredible Chinese restaurant: no frills (aka can be rude) service, strange hours where they close before peak dinner hours, and cash only. Went for a bit of a later lunch on a Sunday at 1PM and waited only 10 minutes before we were seated. In general, it seems like the the turnover rate on tables is pretty fast anyways as your food comes out pretty quick. The actual egg noodle and soup is 5 stars for sure; the texture of the egg noodles is super chewy and the soup is light, but still quite savory. If it's your first time here, definitely get an option with the wontons, juicy and meaty in the best way possible. However, I would skip the beef brisket unless you're getting it with dry noodles. The soup is really delicate and the beef brisket, while super tender, just completely took over the palate.Steamed Pork Liver and Kidney (2.5/5): I really enjoyed the kidney, fantastic bouncy texture, but unfortunately, the liver was a miss; the cook on it wasn't bad, but you usually want it in thinner cuts otherwise you get a strong iron-y flavor that comes through. The dish was also aching for more bright garnish - scallions, ginger, something.

This is my third time here. #10 is a good choice for first timer. You get to try Mike's famous Sui Kao which is the shrimp pork and mushroom stuffing and tender beef brisket.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. This is an authentic Cantonese restaurant that offers a wide range of congees and noodles. The staff was fast in serving. The restaurant was small but clean. Our table was spacious for two people. The food was delicious and fulfilling. The only downside was that they only took cash, no cards. I was able to find a paid street parking nearby and just walked a little bit to the restaurant.

Amazing food, just be aware that this is a cash only place! Loved the wonton and beef noodle soup I got, and the new fish cakes! The rectangular ones tasted better than the circular ones for me :)

My favorite place to go to every time I visit Seattle. We have a few places in Hawaii but Mikes is definitely top tier. Always go for the #9 which is wonton and beef brisket with LOOK FUNN!! My friends and I recently ordered the cabbage with bean curd sauce and oh my god that bean curd sauce is MAGNIFICENT! The service is always quick and I never have to spend over 30 mins in there!

This place is a classic gem in Seattle's International District. Be prepared for a bit of a wait though, because it's so popular. The restaurant itself isn't huge, and the tables are cozy-close, adding to its charm. The food it's absolutely fantastic! I ordered both the No.17 Squid Ball & beef brisket noodle soup and the No.9 Wonton & beef brisket noodle soup. Both dishes were amazing, just depending on your topping preference. Personally, I'd highly recommend giving the wonton a try; the filling is incredibly flavorful and just the right size. And another highlight is their Chinese donut - it's a delightful match with soy milk!If you're craving some comforting Cantonese food, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious, satisfying comfort food!
