My husband and I just stumbled across this place by pure luck. It's off Harding Place and Nolensville Rd in Antioch. I had the hummus plate with falafel and tabooli (it also came with a side of pita). My husband had the chicken mendi. The owners came by and talked to us; such a nice family. They told us about their culture and how the food is prepared. Fascinating! They asked us if we wanted dessert and said they were trying out a new recipe called pistachio cheesecake. Of course we had to try it! I just sat and shook my head in disbelief with every bite. So. So. Good. The place is extremely clean and I love the traditional booths that are closed in and intimate.I told the owner that I would put this place up against any restaurant in NYC. And if I were Paul Hollywood, he'd be getting a handshake. Restaurant experiences like this is why I still love leaving Yelp reviews!

The staff was super friendly, the place was clean and welcoming, and the food is absolutely incredible! I got the lamb mandi with the salad, and the portions are great! The meat was perfectly cooked, fell right off the bone, and had an incredible flavor. The side salad was fresh and delicious, and the rice perfectly complimented the meat. Will definitely be coming back!

Some of the best middle eastern food I've ever had! Great Schwartz and the falafel were the best in town. Try the Adeni Shanee tea - taste like Christmas- yum!

You walk in and the place puts you in a whole different mood. It's full of culture and colors. I tried their mango drink and it's the best drink I've ever had . Perfect sweetness and tastes so refreshing. One of staff always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure that we are enjoying the food. Food is well prepared and seasoned as well as all of their in house made sauces . Truly the best middle eastern restaurant I've been to.

A good halfway meeting point with a friend between Brentwood on Belle Meade. Easy parking in a new strip mall area. We ordered at the counter and then our food was brought to us. Decided to sit in one of the traditional booth type tables that was lower to the floor with comfortable cushion seats. The pictures on the wall of Yemen, Jordan, Abu Dhabi and other countries are lovely and large. Now on to the food. The falafel bowl was excellent - too much for each of us to finish. Plenty of rice with humus and other vegetables. The falafel themselves were crispy and tasty. When we were leaving one of the owners asked us to try the baklava - I need to just say - order it. So delicious.

So fabulous! This is a true gem with elevated Yemeni food that is as flavorful as it is authentic. They have take away or sit down ordering with a few family style banquettes that offer privacy to enjoy the food. Service is amazing including the owner, Gabriel, making the rounds to check on things and offer insights into his culture and food. This was an excellent experience for all the senses!Definitely ask for the Masoop for desert...traditionally prepared layered bread, brown butter, cream, honey and bananas. Wow, just wow!

Disappointing to say the least. The service is absolutely atrocious. The waiter was unable to accommodate an allergy and decided to wait 25 minutes after ordering to tell us. So our food arrives at two totally different times. The food is good but nothing to go out of the way for. The wraps lack seasoning. The taziki sauce is unbalanced. The fries are unnoteworthy.

I can't say enough about Middle Eatz. The food is delicious and everyone there is so nice. If it's your first visit, I recommend sharing the Sayyid platter to sample both types of shawarma and the lamb kebabs. The tabbouleh and hummus rounded out the meal perfectly. And their sauces are worth a try - especially the Middle Eatz signature green sauce. I will be back soon!
