Staff members were nice and the decor and ambiance is really fun. The music they play adds to the experience. They did have the news playing on the TV though and I didn't like that. The food is pretty bad. The chips and salsa that come with the meal are pretty good. Crispy chips with a bit of flavor. The salsa is not spicy but that was okay. The strawberry margarita wasn't strong as far as alcohol but had a strong strawberry flavor. Like a strawberry slushie. I ordered the burrito del mar and it came as enchiladas. It was two small tortillas filled with just shrimp and covered in a cheese sauce that was just literally melted white cheese. Not great. Lettuce and tomatoes and avocado came on the side so I sort of had to assemble it myself to get something decent. The rice was dry and bland. My mom ordered a chimichanga and got taquitos. Pretty sure they were out of large tortillas and just didn't tell us. The chocoflan was not bad.

I normally get takeout. I recently tried for the first time the burrito Azteca and this is literally one of the best burritos I've ever ever had. I would strongly recommend getting the burrito Azteca. It is jampacked with rice, chorizo, and steak and served wet with queso and greensalsa. Very delicious.

This place is a no stars! They also run a taco truck in carrboro and Hillsboro N.C. so don't go there either. Food is okay which is why I went to them did not have any issues with them at first Now to this day I'm starting to get charges on my card from them again even though it's been weeks almost 2 months since I've bought from them againThey have a small restaurant in Durham I recommend you don't go there because if this happens to you then they will pay you your money or ignore you and ask for your bank statements but won't give you the contact info of the person that supposedly runs their financial affairs If you ever feel your missing money scroll through your statements far back and watch their charges bring charges again I've had no issue with any other business with my card except them Let's say you go to the restaurant and complain there will prob not be a manager or the owner available because they are too busy to call or to come in and fix the issue, specially for a small business you'd expect them to be always available or have a manager I supported them and gave them the benefit of the doubt but 6 times is no mistake

I've driven by this restaurant multiple times but never have eaten here until today. It's a small unassuming restaurant. Most people seem to order to-go here. We had two margaritas, supreme burrito, and chicken enchiladas. The service was quick, efficient, and servers were sweet. We were greeted by crispy tortilla chips and medium spicy salsa. The menu had some prices crossed out but not updated. The food was affordable with a margarita about 6$ and portion size huge. The small lime margarita was cutely decorated with an umbrella. It was tasty but a bit warm initially but if you gave it some time it cooled down. Maybe, they did not shake it. The food is filling but lacked chiles/spice but still good. Overall, this restaurant is a solid 4. I think if they updated their menus with the correct prices and put some Chile/jalapeños in their dishes, it would make a big difference.

Some of the best Tex Mex around. Order the Doña Maria. You get a sampling of 5 different things. Chile Relleno Poblano, Enchilada verde, carne asada, taquito de pollo, frijoles, aquacate, pico de gallo. It seems like people are hating on their takeout or their customer service? I've never ordered the takeout and the customer service is what it is. Just go for the dine-in and enjoy the food!

I've been in a scavenger hunt of sorts for some new to me Mexican food places and this is a superstar! They have a nice vegetarian menu that is both filling and delicious.I have never been able to finish a burrito here-they are seriously twice the size as chipotle as about the same price. Lots of veggies, beans and rice, topped with sour cream, lettuce, sauce and cheese. The chips and salsa are very good and they give you regular, green and a sweet version to try. The guacamole was a little brown and I may have gotten the dip instead of the salad kind which I will do next time. This place has it all for me and I'm happy for I find a great option to come back to.

Very classic, almost stereotypical, Tex-Mex food from a nice little establishment. For about a year I knew them only through delivery (because pandemic) and recently got the chance to dine in.The space is (somewhat uncomfortably) small, but we had no trouble finding a safely distanced table on a weekday. The staff is super attentive and kept our drinks and salsa/chips full.They've got a great selection of your standard Mexican-style foods. The value is pretty good among comparable places (I can eat a meal and have another leftover for around $15). Besides the convenient proximity to my house, there's nothing that especially stands out. It's good, cheap, Americanized Mexican food that'll hit the spot if that's what you're craving.

Ordered from this restaurant through a delivery service. Apparently, when the driver showed up, they had given our food to someone else & refused to remake it. So our order was canceled.NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were excited to eat here, but won't be wasting our time again.
