Adding to my original review - I love Micheline's so much that I thought it would be great to cater them for a work event I was leading and support a local business. The catering was PERFECT and everyone LOVED the food! I ordered the individually packed meals which came with a protein, rice, salad, hummus, pita, and sauce. The food arrived warm, and the portions were great for the price. John was so kind and helpful - he accommodated my catering order two days before the event, was on time for the delivery time I requested, and helped me unload everything at my office. I'll definitely be catering Micheline's again for future work events and recommend it to anyone who might be thinking of going with Micheline's for catering!

We really like the food here. It's kind of like a chipotle where you pick your base, protein and such but it's so much better. I was in La Jolla for a few days visiting my daughter and I went here TWICE since it was so good. I had the falafel twice -- it was very good. The seating is very limited inside and there are a few tables outside. But if you arrive for dinner, like we did, it might be a bit chilly outside.Service was very good. I loved that they made the falafel right as you order it. It wasn't sitting.

Wow! Salad is so refreshing. The seasonings in the chicken shawarma is on point! Everything was perfect! I had to steal my hubby's Pesto dressing, it was great with the greek salad. Price was reasonable and service was excellent.The only thing was we paid for parking inside the plaza. Nonetheless, this will be a go-to when we are in the area.

Micheline's Pita House is a hidden gem. The inside has plenty of open well spaced seating and the lighting is nice and bright. I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Salad. It was delicious, nicely portioned, and beautifully presented. Upon entry, the service was friendly and upbeat. Give them a try; you will love the experience as well.

I work close by and have been to Micheline's approximately 4 times in the last two weeks because it's close, reliable, can he healthy, and is delicious. My go to is the falafel plate with hummus, pita, pickles, onions, and garlic sauce but I also love their gyro meat, their salads, their grilled chicken, their rice, and their salad and vinaigrette. We recently ordered a family meal, feeding 8-10 people, for around $140 and had tons of leftovers. It came with salad, rice, pita, chicken, gyro, falafel, garlic sauce, tzatziki, hummus, tahini, and vinaigrette. While the service isn't the greatest, I don't think it's intentional. They just want to churn through orders, cut out the conversation, and move into the next order. Lastly, they validate!

This is my favorite Mediterranean food place. You get so much food for the price you pay for. I always get the rice bowls half gyro and half steak shawarma. All the toppings are included in the price! I always recommend this place when people want Mediterranean food in San Diego.

An authentic Mediterranean cafe close by UCSD that serves warm, fresh pita bread and house-made hummus. Really hit the spot after a long day of work.Easy ordering, but there's lots to choose from: chicken Schwarma, beef kabob, beef gyro, steak schwarma, or falafel that you can put in a pitch sandwich, wrap, rice bowl, fry bowl, or salad. I got the steak schwarma in a rice bowl, and they assemble it "your way" down a counter of toppings. Efficient deli-express like service. The food was delicious, flavorful and i scarfed down the hummus and pita lol. Would recommend as a place to eat after work or school. The price point is going to be around $16 but one bowl fed me and my boyfriend. The parking lot is also paid, but they validate for an hour free.
