I was in town visiting a friend that lives close by and walked to Mica's for breakfast. It's a cute little shop with a variety of breakfast and lunch items. I ordered the breakfast burrito and enjoyed it very much. The hot sauce on the side was a nice touch. My partner enjoyed his mozzarella and tomato sandwich. I would definitely come back. I saw a horchata latte I want to try.

A little neighborhood coffee shop with excellent pastries and a warm welcome. I stopped in while on an extended walk from Madrona to Mt Baker, and it's a perfect break at the top of the ridge when coming up from Leschi. The plain croissant was excellent, the hot chocolate good, and the woman working the counter friendly and helpful. They use Square, which is always a plus.If you're in the neighborhood, stop by.

Nice coffee shop that has a cozy mom and pop feel. Good prices and delicious looking pastry selection. I got a latte, it was good, slightly on the bitter side for me. Staff and service were great. Worth stopping by and supporting this local coffee shop! There were also a handful of tables to hang out or work at.

Mica's is a chill, local cafe that offers a lot of homemade pastries, breakfast items, and good ol' coffee and tea.Oh, and not to mention - a very clean public restroom that was the perfect spot after another cafe nearby unfortunately did not have a working loo.I came in and ordered myself a Chai Tea ($6) which was fairly standard. The owner was very sweet and it really felt they catered a lot to the local community. There is also free wi-fi available so I ended up staying a bit to do some work.Overall, nice shop to check out if you're in the area.

This spot really didn't look like much walking in and menu wise, but their breakfast was incredible! They were out of empanadas :( sadGot the Jalapeno and Cheese tamale ($3.75) and the Breakfast Burrito ($8.50). Both were amazing. The breakfast burrito was a good size and loaded with crispy potatoes and melty cheese. I do suspect their items are premade and microwaved though as they were SEARING hot.I'll admit we grabbed coffees from QED nearby but will very willingly try their items next time (they had some interesting ones - like the horchata latte!) Located on a cute little street in the Judkins Park area.
