Miako Teriyaki

Service was good, prices were good, there was Christian music (spirit 105.3) on, which wasn't bad or anything, just describing the atmosphere. I got a chicken bento box it was 15.50. They didn't have miso soup sadly. The tempura and pot stickers were absolutely delicious, the Teryaki sauce wasn't good though. It tasted kind of gritty? Hard to explain, I really wasn't a fan, but I would come back and try a fried rice dish or maybe yakisoba.

Tiny place, solid fast food teriyaki. One of us has the bento box. Lots of chicken teriyaki, 3 gyoza (deep fried), 3 shrimp tempora (crispy but tiny shrimp inside all the coating), fresh side salad), and one scoop of rice. I had the chicken teriyaki which came with two rice scoops and side salad. All were served with extra sauce. Generous servings, food seemed cooked fresh to order.

Fast service with knowledgeable staff that answered questions I had. Food very flavorful chicken teriyaki very good and just sweet enough. Clean restaurant

Considering there isn't really much to eat at the Fairwood Shopping plaza, I'm glad I can always rely on the teriyaki at Miako's for some decent food!Attached to Safeway/Little Caesars, there's always ample parking and seating, however I typically come here for grabbing takeout. One thing to know about Miako's is that they go HARD on the quantity. I got a chicken teriyaki/gyoza combo, while my brother got the Chicken yakisoba and both those meals ended up lasting us 3 meals. In terms of the food, I'd say that this is decent teriyaki! I'm no connoisseur but their chicken was juicy yet charred, teriyaki sauce was the perfect level of sweetness (they offered me extra!), and I loved the Gyoza and dipping sauce. I think another thing I'd like to highlight about Miako's is the price! You're essentially paying ~$12 for 2-3 meals. Miako's isn't always my first choice, but it's definitely something that's reliable!

One of the best places for katsu. The panko layer is thin and crispy, the meat is tender. I've been coming here for 20+ years, even when I didn't live in the area. The staff is always nice whether you call or order in person.

This is our go to Teriyaki place. Best we have found in the area. And more typing to satisfy the dumb yelp validator.

This place is one of my favorite takeout spots in the area. The food and service is always great!The Chicken Teriyaki is juicy and never overcooked. Highly recommended!

The spicy chicken (2 star) is a perfectly balanced teriyaki and heat. The yakisoba is fantastic. Can't get enough of the gyoza!

Always great for a quick dinner. Super friendly and they can accommodate picky eaters with requests like no sauce. Happy to support our local Fairwood businesses too!!
