Mi Taco Is Your Taco

I almost never give five stars, but this place earns them all. Super friendly service and quality food. What's not to like. We were passing through Oak Harbor at lunchtime and wanted great food without having to eat inside. Mi Taco came up on Yelp with great reviews so we headed over. We each had the carne asada and fried avocado tacos. Both were really great with tasty fillings and we'll balanced toppings. The meat in the carne asada tacos was hot and nicely spicy, but not dried out as too often happens. We especially liked the fried avocado tacos for the perfect avocado with a warm creamy interior and a crispy crunchy coating.Honorable mention goes to their hot sauce, which was flavorful (and scorchingly picante).

10/10 tacos! Friendly staff! I recommend the chorizo tacos! Sometimes the wait is 10 min or so-- I usually call ahead.

Food is good but location doesn't seem the best for business. It's tucked away and hidden behind a gas station, coffee shop, and barber shop. And the hours are more like "possible hours". Went there for lunch after sharing the location with a coworker and they were closed. But life does happen so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that day. Overall, food is good though.

Eh. The tacos were good, nothing really great. It was meat and onion on a tortilla with a lime on the side. I had to go home and put toppings on them, might as well of just made my own tacos. A little over $20 for a plate of 3 mini tacos with 2 drinks...not worth it but decent taco if you must

I'm going to have to visit this food truck again to give them another try. Stop by here because I saw it was a food truck and I just love food trucks all over. I live in San Diego so of course Mexican food is all over here. I had the chicharon taco and carne asada fries. Unfortunately, the chicharon and carne asada was very dry and burnt. It could've been because I came right before they were closing. The owner is actually really nice so I do want to return again and try something else.

My paycheck can just be deposited to this taco truck! By far, the best breakfast burrito I've found on the island. I can't wait to try the rest of their food. I'm giving them a 4 star because instead of using hash browns or making their own house papa, their using French fries inside the breakfast burrito. Other than that...I'll be back

I've been wanting to try this place for a while (been on the island for two years already) so this has been long awaited! First the good: I got the avocado, fish, shrimp and chorizo tacos. So so good, the avocado taco is a good one for vegetarians! I think my fav out of all 4 is the fish! I took off a star because the salsa was way too spicy (and I'm all about spice!) but it takes away from the flavor of the salsa. And also bc my friend ordered the carne asada taco and it lacked salt. (She's Puerto Rican & is used to food being salted) Other than those two things, I'd come back :)

DELICIOUS. EVERY. TIME. So far I've only eaten the chicken tacos every time because I enjoy them so much. I appreciate that this is food made from real food.. no mystery ingredients. While I love a good, basic street taco (meat, onion, cilantro), these are anything BUT basic. Yummy chicken with fresh red cabbage, pico, quality cheese, and crema, plus a lime wedge and your choice of hot sauce (red or green), both of which are ACTUALLY hot (as they should be). The wait time is always reasonable even when it's busy, and the owners/employees are super friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is so amazing!!!! The prices in the pics here ok yelp are wrong but so worth it!!!! Burritos come out to about $18, but like I said... worth it!!!!!!
